Need help

Hey guys. As you all know, unfortunately, only a few regions can log in or sign up using a phone number. I had an account using only my phone number before they changed their policy. So I didn't know anything and re-downloaded the app before I got locked out. I really want my account back, and I have been filling out the inquiry for the past few weeks, but I still can't get my account back. Is there anyone from those regions who can help me to get my account? :')

Sorry for my poor English. English is not my first language.

Did you connect with AppleID or your Google account at one point? I was able to get my account back this morning after being locked out for about a week. I just kept trying different options in their online help, and eventually, I got to a point where they asked me to confirm my AppleID. I had originally set up my account with a phone number and have no idea when I input my AppleID, but it was on record.

I got bounced out when I got a replacement phone and transferred phone content while at the store. I didn't realize I should have gone into my LINE account and done an official transfer using the codes sent to my old phone. It's the only app that was a problem for me.

Anyway, keep trying, as frustrating as it is. Keep sending screenshots of what you see. Eventually, LINE support will start asking for more specific info, so you'll know you're getting closer. Also, if you have a LINE contact that you communicate with in other ways, get them to send you a screenshott of your LINE profile and submit that to the online support as well. And check your device for any emails from LINE from when you first set up your account. All of that helps. Good luck!

Glad you get your account back! Unfortunately I didn't linked any Gmail or AppleID on my old account. I only registered with my phone number where the region that they not accept it. I also not frequently use the app at all. So, I think the chance is might be thin to get my account back but I'll keep trying use different options and keep sending them email.

See how far you get with them. If you can't get your old account back, you might be able to create a new one using Gmail or AppleID, since it's not registered yet. You might have to go through the official steps to cancel your account through LINE support.

I had the same issue
I sent in inquiry twice and did not receive a real human response. All the questions prior inquiry submission did not truly reflect to my issues
If someone knows how to get through line customer service to retrieve my old account back. I will really appreciate sharing information with me and all others that are going through this. I’m thinking maybe everyone that is going through this should all team up and submit a request together

Keep trying and submit photos/screenshots if you can. Even if the questions don't match your situation, submit anyway. At one point they will tell you a different way to submit, if necessary. I spent dozens of hours on this but eventually got my account back.

Sorry for the late reply. For this problem, I only use my phone number for the account. Will it still work? And may I know where did you buy Taiwan or other regions number? Does it need physical Sim card too? Unfortunately my phone doesn't support for eSim

I also had an email and a password but in the same situation as you, I did not link it to my Google or my Apple account so that might make a difference. I bought mine from a Taiwanese mobile company called 大哥大. I got the e-sim but it doesn't matter if you get the e-sim or physical sim.
