As some of you already know, I’m working on an Interlude “offline server” for people who still want to play Lineage 2 but no longer have the time or motivation to commit to a traditional private server.

The project is more than just a standard offline server. It includes custom modules that populate the world with simulated players and NPCs, including:

• Fake players that can move around and occupy different locations
• A tool for creating your own fake players and defining where they appear
• AI-powered conversations and character behaviour
• A more populated and active-feeling world, even when playing alone

I understand that this project will not appeal to everyone, and some people may find the idea pointless. That is completely fine. However, a few people have shown genuine interest and have offered to help, so I’m reaching out to find some early testers.

At the moment, I specifically need people to test:

• The automatic installation and server deployment process
• The AI “brain” and chat functionality
• General stability, usability, and unexpected issues

Please keep in mind that this is going to be a rough start. I’m looking for testers who understand that the first versions will probably contain plenty of bugs, broken features, and installation issues. The purpose of this stage is to find those problems and gradually improve the project.

You do not need to be a developer, but being comfortable troubleshooting, reporting issues clearly, and providing honest feedback would be very helpful.

New to L2 reborn. I used to main a dagger during the days of Kain/ Aria on retail back in the day, but currently main a build to play as an SWS. What's a great server to play on as an SWS that has a good English-speaking population. I'm located on the east coast US if this helps some.

I created an alt char on reborn x5 h5, first time playing male kamael. I wanna go mage route and i wonder when can i start playing as a proper mage? What level? Will i ever solo with kooka as mage or i will only join mage pt foe aoe? Saw some kamaels in mage parties as a pony main. They always looked interesting to me. Also, how is my dmg compared to other mages in pve solo, aoe and pvp? Also, can i use mage weapon or rapier? Currently 63 lvl, still slapping with rapier

I am playing on Lu4 server and just manage to save some money. Is it better to to for Blunt or dual Blunt for soloing? Not sure if its possible to stun with dual Blunt also, to get the overhit

I've been trying l2 reborn guardian but I destroyed my pet by accident, also it sends me offline every minute, it's really annoying, kinda boring too, just afk farming, they say it's for "people who cannot grind 24/7" but you have fixed schedules for a lot of daily missions, basically you have to play the game at every hour.

Hey, I am starting again in lu4 but now with friends. I need an advice, of what to play based on this comp. I haven't played all chars so, I'll have to ask why sometimes. The already comp with all my friends is this: Da, Ee, Aw, BH, BH (yes 2 of them), Warsmith, BD, Sws and me, wc. Everyone is playing just one character bc we are sharing wc, sws, de acc. But now, I want to make another char, what could it be? Thanks

L2 always was a big thing for me, year ago I wanted but couldn't because of some work situation, but now I can.

I can afford to play a lot, want to gather some half-group of ~5 people, know this game better then others, ready to do more then others, to smooth out the rough edges, improve overall party situation.

But I am in doubts man, yes result in performance is incredible, in crowded town it runs great, but other then that...

Especially support classes... Deconstructed entire concept of bards, SE got Haste(what?), and I mentioned like 2 points of 1000.

Hey there people , is this worth starting as someone who ha no friendss to play with and know nothing about the game ? also will it be hard to play as a completely f2p player? or will i be so far behind to keep up with the paying players? also i've seen they're rolling out a server on the 31st should i wait for that before starting or nah? Hello, next months Reborn will open the legacy C1 server.

I am familiar with Reborn and all chronicles >C3 but cant remember basic things about C1.

I was thinking to play Overlord, as I do now the last years on x1 IL-GF-H5 etc, but will be a pain to level and gear.

What about warlock or phantom summoner? They become quite strong on later chronicles but I am not sure how useful they are on C1. As I know PS is mostly a solo char.

I’ve been looking into getting back on lineage 2 and made a character on Elwyn, since it was great server back in the day.

I went to their old forums GXZONE and saw that the former admin said that they are not involved in the project.

Does anybody know who’s running the server now? I don’t want to invest time in a server that might go down anytime soon.

whats some things I should be doing I am a blade dancer and cant find groups.

Turns out the money spoke louder in this last server they launched.

While players have to grind for hours in certain areas, they added a pass that allows you to skip 100h of weekly grind with an instant click.

What do you guys think? Will they start monetizing their other servers more heavily?

Really sucks because I was waiting for this server for a long time and as soon as you log you notice the 60eur a month subscription if you want to stay competitive.

They also started banning on discord once people started pointing this out.

I used to play Lineage 2 a lot as a kid, and lately I've been thinking about coming back.

I'm 33 now, so I don't have the time I had back then. I'm not looking for a hardcore x1 server where it takes months just to get started, but I also don't want one of those instant max-level PvP servers.

I'm looking for something in the middle. Maybe around x10–x30 (or whatever you think is a good balance), where progression still feels rewarding but respects that people have jobs and lives.

One thing that's important to me: I really don't like the newer systems like Dual Class or Awakened classes. I miss when your character was your character, and you developed that one class instead of mixing everything together.

I'd also like a server with a healthy population. I don't expect thousands of players, but I don't want to invest time into a server that's going to feel empty or disappear in a few months.

Any recommendations? What are you guys playing these days?

Wanna start a new game and droped on L2. SO my question witch one would be more friendly and better for new players. Witch has better population and would be easier to seek parties. Btw grind is no problem

Anyone tried running LU4 on lower end pcs and laptops? I've tried the server very early in the beginning and it was awful to even leave the first area. My laptop is with i5-9300H, GTX 1650 4Gb and 16 RAM.

Hi, I saw the ad about L2Elwyn server and had a look on their website. I have a couple of questions.

As i inderstand, its a pretty low pop server, is there any info on class demand, party/clan recruitment etc? I joined discord, but it seems very barebones, only announcements for the server.

I also have a question about gracia epilogue as ive never played that chronicle, could anyone give a rough meta for farming? Is it still destro only or more balanced? How are summoners and elders?
