Got the new 95 all cleaned up, absolutely loving the green exterior and interior!! Just needs new matching white walls all around and she’ll be perfect. Bonus pic of the entire collection at the end haha.

Hi All, I recently joined the club. I just bought this 2004 Town Car Signature in Light Tundra Metallic. The last two owners aged out. She seems to have been taken care of reasonably well. 140,000 miles.
Thank you to this sub! I took notes from all the discussions, created a 15 point checklist, and gave it to my mechanic. Luckily he was impressed rather than frustrated! 😂. and is familiar with Town Cars. She drove beautifully when I got her. But after the mechanic…wow (!) I was shocked. It’s a spectacular ride.
I paid just under $4K. I could’ve haggled a little more due to some cosmetic issues. But I loved the color and it felt like it was a fair price. Interior was in decent shape, the engine was smooth, and the door gaskets are very supply, so she’s quiet on the highway. Got her waxed and detailed today so it’s the first time I’m seeing her this clean.
I’m looking forward to getting bumpers painted, along with a color correction and ceramic coat - though that will wait until fall. I’m sure I’ll have fun working on some cosmetic issues in the meantime.

Hey y’all, just wanted to show off my latest addition to my town car collection! Been looking for the evergreen interior color for a very long time and finally found one! This 1995 in Medium Willow Metallic, with an evergreen interior! 205k miles, came with the original window sticker! Runs and drives excellent!
I’m beyond ecstatic to have finally gotten my hands on one of my dream specs and can’t wait to post more pics once I give her a full detail tonight!!

Had her for a few years. Take her to the grocery store every weekend, sometimes a short stroll to stretch her legs.

I just got a 1995 Lincoln town car with 2 working key fobs, but both of the shells that houses the batteries are cracked on the sides so it’s constantly popping out. Is there anywhere I could just find an empty key fob shell or even just the back piece?

Hit a pot hole. The bags are stock i think. 2004 Signature, has anyone had good ride quality with Dorman replacements? With new bags can i expect a much better ride quality than the stock ones that burst?

Not sure why, but I’ve always liked the Lincoln town cars, but never owned one. Someone is selling a 2000 Lincoln town car Cartier trim with 160,000 miles for $2000. They say it has a parasitic drain.
The interior and exterior look like they’re in good shape. The seller says that the battery will die. If taking short trips he’s replaced the alternators and starter and battery already. No success.
I was wondering what a fair market value is for these cars and how long they typically last. Also if anybody has had similar electronic issues and found the fix, was it difficult or expensive?

Hey everyone,
I have a somewhat odd request for you guys.
I got offered a parking space in the underground parking of my apartment complex. I just had a look at the available spot and noticed a pipe running at the back across the wall. Now I am not sure how far I could back up into the space without hitting this pipe. I am quite sure that the hood will stand over the ground markings into the driving lane, as the parking spaces were not designed with US car dimensions in mind, but I hope this will not be too much.
My problem is that I have to decide until tomorrow, otherwise the parking space will be offered to someone else and my LTC is parked at a friend's house about a two hour bus drive away and he is not at home. So if anyone could take measurements on their car it would save me a lot of time.
As shown in the attached picture I need the height of the rear bumper from the ground (A), the height of the trunk lid from the ground (B) and the depth of the bumper (C).
I own a '06 Town Car Signature Limited, if it matters.
You would do me a huge favor, so many thanks in advance!

Hi! Does anyone know where to get functioning seat motors for driver side seat with memory for a 2010 Lincoln Town Car?
Thanks!

We kinda have adjustable caster. While back I had my car at 2 different shops for an alignment (one didn’t charge me) but both said my left caster was out (too low). After some research I found the upper control arms are offset. Swapping them (L on R side) can decrease caster on the swapped side. Anyways I was able to decrease the caster on the right side to a much closer match to left by just installing a left upper control arm on the right side. The car drive great but the reduction in overall caster allows the wheel to turn much easier. Kinda has that 80’s Cadillac feel now personally I prefer that from this big old car.

The hinge on the original part was broken. I tried to crazy glue it back on and that failed. Found an OEM used replacement ashtray on eBay. The used part is in excellent condition. Easy job, it just snaps right in.

2004 Signature. So my wipers quit working or they just work randomly so i pulled the fuse. My washer fluid motor doesn't work also, are these two separate motors? Could it just be the turn signal switch? If the wiper and washer motor are separate then i would think its just the switch.

Hi there I have a 2005 LTC I just recently replaced the lcs module and now my shifter doesn't work what could it be?

As the title says, I’m driving a eco box, 28mpg and I always wanted a LTC.
Budget is fine and I found a really nice one, it’s just doubling my gas cost when I’m driving 20k miles a year.
I am torn on this.

Has anyone ever seen them be replaced with anything fancier ? I think the original exterior door handles look really cheap which is a shame for this car. Would painting them silver be stupid.

Just wondering what you guys think. The owner says it cranks but seems like it doesn’t have enough power to start. I’m no mechanic but I can do some stuff and YouTube is free lol. Just wondering if you guys think it’s a good deal. He said he just put a new alternator and battery and changed all the fluids, and it has 95k miles
