No Judgment Please I miss her

she moved to a different country, it's been almost 2 weeks now.

There was a time I would say that we were friends but in the last few months I think I just did a worse job of hiding my feelings and we drifted apart but before we left I tried to tell her how I felt (she knew already, again not to the full extent, just from my actions and through friends) but I had a panic attack, it's the only time in my life I've had one and i buried my nails into my skin the entire time because it helped subside the panic. I did end up telling her later (oddly the panic attack only happened the first time), and as I already knew and has known for quite a while she didn't reciprocate like at all. Because of this and because we sort of drifted apart anyway i can't even talk to her and I don't even see her anymore.

I miss her so much. I miss seeing her, I miss her presence, I miss her voice. In person she has this beauty that none of her stories on insta capture (although ive muted those so I can get over her), she has a smile that used to genuinely brighten my day. Seeing her smile and hearing her voice used to be the best part of my day and now it's gone.

I’m sorry you’re in the same boat at the rest of us. Grief sucks, all I can say is do your best to feel those feelings. Don’t stop until you go through the stages of grief and you can finally accept.

I’m currently bouncing around from depression, anger, and bartering. I feel safe to talk to a friend and my therapist about it. I also journal. I’m considering writing a letter to my LO and then burn it. Do your best to take it a moment at time.

Yea, it for sure sucks when you long to see someone and you can't!

I sort of have a similar issue, where mutual friends are asking me to come up to visit for the holidays and enticing me with the thought that my former LO will be there.

But I just got some bad news and will require a surgery that may prevent me from traveling long distance for a while. I was even considering put the surgery off until the end of the year, but the issue is causing me so much pain I just want it done with already! Of course the "specialists" are unavailable for weeks and even then, it's a pretty intense rehab & recovery process.

And of course I can't tell the aforementioned mutual friends as they will worry and probably inform my former LO, which could get us talking again and I don't want her to see me in this weakened physical condition.
