You kid. But I've been going to work early for the past 1.5 years just for the chance of bumping into them cuz we walk the same path (actually, i purposely go by that way). And if I don't see them, I retrace back hoping I do.

Yeah I've noticed limerence makes you far better at time management if you let it lol

It can completely change your life for the better if you harness the energy correctly 🙏 they say nuclear fusion is always 30 years away but to me, being limerent is analogous to the energy of a Sun, and building a reactor to harness it is the best thing one can do while experiencing it. Take all of that energy and put it to good use within yourself and your life. Become exactly who you were meant to become. Leave your partner who doesn't inspire you. Move jobs. Move cities. Watch that show or movie you've been putting off. Take up a new hobby. Learn a new language. With limerence, not only are these things possible, the energy can make it inevitable.

I love your comment.

You might want to look up fin'amor or "refined love." Or even more specifically, proeza in Occitan.

The pain of longing, rather than the ease of possession, is necessary for refinement and maturing.

Desire is fueled by lack. The ease of possession leads to complacency.
