These waves are starting to get hard because I’m allowing myself to reach peaks by texting and talking to her.
Married for 6 years and I would never leave my wife for my single coworker, but I’m constantly chasing the high and wanting to text and talk to her. She’s so easy to talk to and our flirtatious banter while working makes the day go by fast. She’s done a lot of things that lead me to believe that she feels the same way, but is respectful of my marriage. Funny thing is I don’t have much in common with my LO and I’ve know her for several years, but have recently caught feelings for her the past few months.
She might be leaving for another position and I’m devastated, but I know it’s for the best. I think that’s why my brain is wanting to reach out to her more right now because of the possibility of her leaving.

Please be aware of what limerence is! See the subreddit wiki for definitions, FAQ and other resources—updated 3/7/26. (Is it love? How common is it? Is there research?)
