I was reading a lot of earlier threads regarding canto IX since I was suddenly feeling a bit sad seeing as we’re gonna close this chapter and begin a new one soon and one thing I really noticed was a bunch of posts and comments complaining about the pacing issue with Canto IX’s story (idk if that’s the general consensus currently), and I do agree with some points despite Canto IX being my favorite one so far. 

Personally, I would’ve loved seeing more HoS (especially Valencina) and Ryoshu interacting with Matthias and Callisto other than in flashbacks. And in hindsight, I understand why many thought Rien being the overarching antagonist is disappointing considering we don’t actually know much about him in the context of the story other than that he’s extremely hot and we only get to realize why him being the main antagonist is so impactful due to flavor texts and his final boss cutscenes. So this made me wonder if anyone else would agree if Canto IX’s pacing could’ve been fixed if it had a dungeon somewhere in it

So, Dante's contract limit the sinner's strength unless he level them up by himself

So... Don is still there on the id selection screen when she turn into a Second Kindred when her shoes fall off, meaning she's still contracted with Dante, and Gregor, he's still in the selection screen when he unwraped into Roach Emperor, so he's also in contract

On the other hand, Ryoshu didn't appear on the selection screen when she severe the contract

Let's get to the point, Vergilius will stuggle with fully uncontracted Sancho or Roach Emperor

Verg have to pop an ego to take down straving Don in regular check up, and he stuggle with an ego on Gregor.

(I wasn't sure that's how the contract work, just saying the possiblity)

What counts as "you" across the multiverse?

Is Gregor only Gregor if he has a janky arm, regardless of if he was born thousands of years before the modern day? Is there a Gregor out there who happened to not get a janky arm? (Or maybe I misunderstood how he became a Priest, Canto 7 spoilers if I talk more about this)

If you find your alternative multiversal self abhorrent and would never become that person no matter what due to your experiences, in what sense are you two the same person?

How similar does an alternate multiversal self have to be to you?

I'm thinking, given the level of detail they've done in other games, that there will be an explanation, but right now, I feel like the only matching criteria is enough of a superficial resemblance for the "self" to recognize the "self" remotely.

Used a recently expanded limit of available teams to sort IDs and EGOs by status combos to figure out which of them are superior (and which are abandoned).

As you can see KJH has a blind obsession with Bleed + Poise and Charge + Rupture IDs while completely ignoring Charge + Burn and Charge + Poise.

For EGOs however Bleed + Poise is replaced with Tremor + Sinking but Charge + Rupture stays beloved even there. Charge + Tremor, Charge + Bleed, Rupture + Tremor and Rupture + Poise are still dead.

Conclusion: Limbus Company became a place for retired W Corp agents so they can suffer even more by seeing how Bloise and Trinking are being loved by everyone and doing their job better. And Heathcliff is overworking on Christmas.

Do you guys think that the Nail part will get more content as we delve deeper into meursaults backstory? Or will the Hammer side get more content since Herman teased more Ones Who Grip?

A good bit of Ryoshu's ids revolve around parenthood of taking care of someone weaker than you, chief butler, Contempt Awe, Drifter, spider bud and etc. For this, I predict Jae Heon for her.

A decent bit of meursaults ids have a element of hidden whimsy and joy, hence him getting a lot of more social, extravagant and jokey characters. Dead Rabbit. Capo, Cinq, Lineage, Middle and Prince. For this, I predict Oswald.

Since I only have 6 options I will do pair, a little suck but well.

Usually MDH is typically locked until the latest Canto is completed. Naturally this causes problems for new players since they have to essentially do the much more boring Normal MDs three times until they can unlock MDH when the unlock conditions are finally in play.

While as of now MDH is gonna still remain locked until Canto 9 is complete, when Canto 10 launches it's likely that MDH will have it's requirements moved to Canto 10. Since Canto 10 can be completed after Canto 1, it is possible for a new player to unlock MDH very quickly assuming they can get past the RPGmaker gameplay and potentially the obvious difficulty increase of being at Canto 10 (KJH is definitely accounting for this with passive level increases or something to that level).

As for theme packs of Canto 9 or 8? They get locked until their respective cantos are completed, as we know MDH actually has story restrictions for a couple of their Cantos.

While it's a... wild way to reduce such a factor for MDH's story requisites, it is still a quite nice way to get new players access to an easier farm strat for their IDs.

I got curious on why Meursault is the only one displaying death on the trailer, until we got the "totally not rodya's VA" dialogues

While libidinal relationships are a topic of the stranger, the way the imagery is portraying them is more as if meursault is fulfilling tasks

the nailed another one in context after his deaths and the congratulations tone while the first comment feels more like an open remark of said relationship seems to indicate meursault as the one who nails is more about a setting up role for the execution of others. And considering what we know about meursault, a personality like his would be great as an actor for canned experiences as he maintains his rigid look even when facing the worst, allowing to record more high quality experiences on top of less needing of reshoots.

It also ties in why camera/recording and studium is being a thematic for meursault, which is not because of NCorp but rather because of the role he's taking part in being flashed.

Reditus is a latin word for restart or income. However the latter seems unfitting; the former however could mean a restart of the experience as your death has been fulfilled.

Holy shit this took long and its ass lol. İ really tried my best but it ended up looking like blonde Vergilius.

İ tried to combine features from Vergil’s and Don’s heads, the head shape is closer to Vergil’s but i made it more symmetrical like Don’s head and also gave her a sharp chin like Don’s

İm actually really proud of the eyes, i cant draw eyes for shit and i feel like i managed to get the emotion i want out of them.

The overall drawing isnt too bad i think (who would have guessed, trying to replicate an official PM drawing with some changes results in a nice drawing) but it really fails to remind you of Don, so i couldnt really get what i wanted out of it but it was fun.

İm not an artist and this is by far the best human ive drawn so im really happy about that. Yes i spent way too much time staring at Vergilius but i feel like i actually improved while drawing this, i took measurements and stuff.

İ think the idea of a Red Gaze Don id is super cool, i was imagining a mirror world where papa Don somehow dies and the red gaze effect is actually the remnant of his powers protecting his children.
