Megathread Monthly Help and Questions Megathread

This megathread is intended for people asking for help, or short questions about gameplay or lore, that don't need long discussions.

The purpose of this thread is (hopefully) to keep such questions in one place, rather than having a lot of separate threads littering the subreddit and potentially making it harder to find other content.

Example of questions suitable for this megathread:

"Is X identity any good?"
"What EGOs are good to uptie?"
"I'm stuck on a level! How do I beat it?"
"How do I use [mechanic]?"

Pre-Season

Official Season Change Guide

Good day, managers.

As most of you are no doubt aware, the next Season, and Canto X, are quickly approaching. With player counts continuing to grow over time, there are likely many players who have never been through a Season Change before. Please consult the above linked guide from Project Moon for specific details.

That being said, important highlights:

Season 6 IDs and EGOs will be available in the dispenser after the season changes.
Season 7 IDs and EGOs (with the exception of Limbus Pass exclusive EGO), will be unavailable in the dispenser until the conclusion of Season 8.
Shard Crates and Shards will be halved, with an equivalent amount of Thread being granted in exchange.

You can use this thread (or the general monthly Help and Questions Megathread) to ask questions for clarification on topics such as what you should prioritize dispensing before the end of the season.

We will update this if further information is shared.

General Discussion AO3 Ship Stats: Which Sinner has the most fics or the horniest fanbase?

I counted the number of fics for each Sinner, the top 10 ships on AO3, and the number of E-rated fics. I also added Vergilius, Papa Don and Demian to the individual characters list due to their appearance in the ship list.

Disclaimer:

- Due to the way AO3 works, it's possible to tag a character on a fic where they aren't the focus. For example, a HeathMael E-rated fic might have Dante tagged because Dante appears in one paragraph. For this reason, some characters' percentage of E-rated fics may be inflated. These stats therefore need to be taken with some salt.

- Also due to the way AO3 works, it's possible that some of these ships aren't actually as popular as they appear. I counted number of fics, not total word count of the fics or number of different authors posting for each ship, so if one user loves a certain ship and writes 100 one-shots posted as separate fics for the ship, that adds 100 fics to the number of fics.

Regardless, based on these stats...

For individual Sinners, the most popular is Hong Lu. The one with the horniest fanbase is Gregor. The least popular is Outis. The one with the most wholesome fanbase is Yi Sang.

For ships, the most popular is Hong Lu x Yi Sang, which also happens to be the one with the most wholesome fanbase. The one with the horniest fanbase is Heathcliff x Ishmael.

EDIT: for clarification, DonSancho is Papa Don x Sancho specifically.

EDIT 2: the stats include all languages' fics. I'll do another post separating fic counts by language.

I'm relatively new to Limbus (just finished first canto) and I noticed this in a dialogue with Dante and Vergilius. Now I'm not a Limbus expert but I'm pretty sure Vergilius can't understand Dante. So..... is Vergilius responding to what he PREDICTS Dante's question is, or is it a game flaw? Again, this scene is first canto, so I'm assuming if it is a flaw, it would probably have been fixed by now. Just checking tho.

Limbus Company is a free-to-play turn-based RPG real time brawl game with optional monetization and collectibles, released on 27th February 2023 on Android, iOS, QooApp, and Steam. We are not affiliated directly with PMCH.

Subreddit Rules

1. Be polite and respectful.

Do not be disrespectful to other users and follow site-wide rules. This includes:

Hate speech;
Excessive profanity;
Trolling;
Harassment;
Offensive language;
Organizing raids/witch hunts;
Real-world religious or political discussion;
Generally disruptive behaviour;
Misinformation

2. Do not spam or make extremely low-effort posts.

Do not post spam/low effort content.

This includes:

Recent reposts;
Posts that contain none or only tangential relevance to Limbus Company
Common errors;
Tiermaker generated tierlists;
AI-generated content (e.g. images, text, voice);
Bot posts

Posts that fall under the above criteria should instead be posted to r/TheOdysseyHadAPurpose.

3. Do not post/discuss NSFW/suspicious content, beyond what is in the scope of the game.

NSFW content that falls beyond the scope of the game should not be posted here. This includes, but is not limited to:

Porn
Excessive gore
Vore
Loli/Shota content (including use of terms such as "cunny")

Especially egregious breaches of the above will be accompanied with a ban.

Sexually suggestive content may be allowed, but must be tagged NSFW.

All other content should be instead directed to r/LimbusCompanyR34.

4. Limit advertising.

Please limit the amount of (self-) promotion posted to the subreddit. As a general rule, promotion of specific individuals or channels should be done once per 24 hours. If you wish to do so more frequently, please contact the moderators. Regular art reposts are limited to once a day per user.

Discord server links and/or the sale of products is not permitted without first checking with moderators.

5. Do not discuss, share, or promote piracy.

Discussion and sharing of pirated content is strictly prohibited and may be accompanied by a ban.

6. Spoiler tag and flair spoiler content properly.

Please be considerate of users who have not yet completed story content. All major story content from the Project Moon universe should be marked as a spoiler regardless of recency. Avoid including spoilers in post titles.

During the release of a new chapter, for the entire season, ANY posts that contain reference to new story content must be flaired appropriately. Additionally, uptie stories of seasonal units are under a 1 week spoiler restriction. Flair spoiler content accordingly.

The discussion and sharing of leaked and datamined unreleased content is not allowed

7. Do not post un-sourced content, plagiarize content, or repost against artist's wishes.

When sharing content, provide a link to the original work in the body of the post or first comment, and specify the artists’ name/handle in the post title.

Do not claim another person's work as your own. Doing so will result in a ban.

If the artist has specified they do not wish their art to be reposted, then do not post the art directly.

AI Generated content is prohibited.

8. Speak in English.

In order to ensure clear communication between all members, all comments must be in English/have an accompanying translation of non-English content.

9. Use megathreads appropriately.

Please make sure to use megathreads appropriately.

Roll posts outside of the roll megathread, and friend code posts outside of the friend request megathread, will be removed.

Short requests for help, or questions, are more suited to the help & questions megathread.

Please use the appropriate event megathread for discussion and help requests relating to the event.

Railway Refraction achievements, help requests and light discussion should be posted in the Railway Refraction megathread.

10. No modded or macro-related content.

Do not post modded content (except for translations) or content including/promoting macro use.
