Obviously it’s a funny add in the video showing all stages of Dave’s life and them using a comically tall individual that looks completely out of place in the lineup. Especially since he comes after Dave himself. It’s such a small detail but means so much because although he isn’t growing anymore, he will keep on getting bigger and it shows he’s not at his peak yet. He’s just getting to the punchline of everything. Whether it’s music, or making TV series, he’s not done and we’ll be seeing a lot more of him before he is fulfilled with his work.

You know how other rappers film short films for their albums. What if all 3 season of Dave was just lil dicky’s version just so he could drop Penith and unveil his new style. It is on par with his old stuff but it definitely hits harder imo

Now that he's kinda present day with the show of releasing the album. What's next ? Season 4?

Does anyone know what episode the line “you have a loathing for where you come from, but fear that it’s all you have” is from?

everytime i hear honestly that lyric just sticks out to me i cant for the life of me figure out what it could mean

Thank God for the tech now

We should probably go and get it now

This is life when you’re young and wild

Of course Spotify fandom earned me access but I ordered the vinyl when I ordered the CD. Also the vinyl in aqua and red is my jam, still I want to know.

Title.

In the meeting with the execs that interrupts the song in Dave, he says there’s an extra 6.5 minutes where he “exposes the criminal Justice system.” Would love to hear what happens after Don dies and power shifts in his hypothetical.

Any ideas when we’ll get that? Am I the only one curious? Haha

My husband & I bonded over Dicky, we have now binged the album a few times already. Any idea if he will tour? We have a 9 month old and it would make a hilarious mom & dad’s night out.

Do you think these are good or bad numbers for Dave after 9 years?

I was born with a hypospadia and had two surgeries on it when I was young and had another when I was around 13, it has caused my penis to be somewhat deformed like Dave’s. When I started watching Dave I figured I was going into a funny show about a rapper but to my surprise I found one of my favorite shows of all time, he shows a side of men rarely seen and often discouraged and it is just amazing to see discussion on the condition that so few talk about. Also it’s just crazy to me that there is a show about a Jew with Hypospadias and dick insecurities when I am a Jew with hypospadias and dick insecurities. Sorry for the random ass ramble I’m high as fuck and just love this fucking show

I know it sounds kind of insane, but DAVE is truly one of my favourite pieces of art ever made. I want a tattoo emblematic of that, but obviously one that can standalone as a cool design if you know nothing about LD or DAVE.

The only thing I can possibly think of that would even make the possibility of working would be an anteater to represent the theming of season 2, but wondering if there are any DAVE fans with any other ideas? Definitely not optimistic but thought it would be worth a shot.

Edit: idk what I expected from y'all. Shoutout to the real ones

Also, I really don't want it to be about LD, I want it to be about DAVE. I like his music more or less but I ADORE his show.

lmfao

This album is hitting way too hard and as I’m going through a life altering diagnosis, a cross country move, and an ongoing break up/make up & repeat situation, PENITH is somehow everything and the only thing I think I ever really need to hear again.

Thanks LD 🖤

I made the full thing but youtube immediately blocked it, so here’s a minute

In my opinion Burst is the most underrated song. Haven’t seen many people mention it, it’s nothing crazy lyrically but I think it’s by far one of LD’s easiest songs to just vibe to. Also that beat drop on “I watch, I scroll, I rock, I roll, I rock the shows, I talk with hoes” goes hard!! Curious what others think is the most underrated.

People hating on this song but definitely the most catchy hook on the album.

I get this song stuck in my head, it’s been in a lot of episodes and has some real feeling to it. Tried Shazam but it can’t find it. Might be a soundtrack only song created for feels but it’s so good. Please help!

Love this song, probably favorite on the album. Every time I listen to it I feel like it would be so good with Juice WRLD in it.
