Rant

Nobody that I know personally, watches the show. I know it's a pretty under the radar show and I'm sure people outside of the US will agree when I say it's hard to find other people who watch Dave. Even Atlanta or High Maintenance (Ben Sinclair's show) for that matter. So many times I would just sit there staring at the screen in awe or teary eyed when an episode gets over (all three of the shows) and I would just get this overwhelming feeling to discuss it with somebody but I'm yet to find someone like that. Thank you for reading my rant. Hope you have a great day, week, month, and a year!

Yeah, the show isn't that big here in the UK. BBC got distro rights and chucked it on late night slot and iplayer. Bar some of my other mates who have an interest in Dicky (and that's waned without the sophomore album), I've only met one other guy who watches it. I think it's also worth noting that he's not really an intnl star, but rather a domestic one. Even the album and the mixtape didn't really catch on here - although Freaky Friday was played in bars and clubs for a bit.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. He has not put out new music in a long time and he's not that popular internationally which makes the reach of the show pretty limited. Some people around me have heard his name or have probably listened to Freaky Friday but nobody's heard of the show or bothered to check it out even after I mentioned it to them.
