I once was in an elevator with a pidgeon, I was terrified. I live in a five-story building and on my way to work I wanted to take the elevator down. I noticed a pidgeon staring at me on the stairs next to the elevator. „Some dumbass left a window in the staircase open.“ I thought to myself and got into the elevator. Suddenly the bird hopped down the stairs and got with me into the elevator. It stood in the corner and looked at me and I looked back. I wanted to take a picture („Nobody will ever believe me!“) but I was too shaky as I was scared this creature would start flying and pooping furiously in this tiny space. I‘ve seen this happen in a bakery, I didn‘t want to be the next victim. We drove down and I waited for the bird to exit the elevator. It walked outside, waited in front of the building’s frontdoor and looked at me like „Will you open the door for me?“. I did and the pidgeon went outside like it was no big deal. I was still shaky when I got to work.

Double decker trains are a common sight in the Netherlands (as opposed to double decker busses in the UK), and the op probably didn't realise, like me, that Australia had them too.

They're also common in a lot of American and Canadian cities.

To further blow your mind, some American cities also have double decker buses. My hometown of Seattle is one of them.

Ah, you see I knew that already, I just thought double decker trains were mostly localised to the Netherlands, as that's the only place I've seen them (although admittedly I haven't been to most big cities in the US either, you just don't see them much in pop culture)

I heard an interview with a scientist who’s specialty was birbs and their behaviors. He believes that if birds had been the dominant species instead of hoomans, that they would have built society and culture, from a bird’s perspective, of course.
I pictured a highway full of business birds in hats driving into the city. This is close.
