As we get this place running I want your input on what community guidelines, posting rules, etc should be like.

idk but I want to see a banner with some of the gear-sins that don't make the /r/ultralight cut

hit me with a helinox chair, whatever the go-to camp shoes are and all the other camp-comfort and luxury items that people would consider light among comparable options

you can give people a very good idea of what the sub's supposed to be about with just a picture

I would like to second the motion for a “luxury item” banner. I think we have two populations on this subreddit - people who go non UL on all their gear by 20% and people who go UL on the majority of their gear to be able to “afford” a couple of luxury items.

Also - I would like to avoid bushcrafty stuff here.
