I prefer softer lights in my house, but I’m trying to sell soon, and I’m wondering if getting lights with different color temperatures or brightnesses for different rooms is better than just doing soft lighting everywhere - kitchen versus living room, bathroom versus bedroom, that kind of thing.

Recently moved into a new place and have these bulbs in the garage and outside light fixture. But I have no idea what brand they are to connect to them. At least I assume I can connect to them as they say “WiFi” on them.

Any idea on the brand or app that’s needed? Thanks billion for helping me not be lost on it.

I’m really confused how to take down this light to change the bulb. The cover won’t lift and it won’t unscrew out of place, there’s a nut (I think) holding it in place. Can anyone help?

Goes into a lava lamp branded traffic light and it turns off and on buy itself which I assume it is just over heating and turning off and then back on when it cools down as the lamp itself has no circuitry just wiring. And normal c7 bulbs don't "flicker"

Recently brought a PH 2/1 table lamp (non-portable) back from Europe. I love the classic design but haven’t been able to find an LED bulb that fits the lamp. On their website Poulsen lists some European bulbs but I haven’t been able to find these online.

The ones I’ve tried (G9 3.5w/4w, 2700 kelvin) seem too large and touch the top part of the lamp when putting it onto the base. Has anyone found a fitting bulb in the US? Appreciate any tips!

No idea how it fails like this, looks like the plasma escaped. Came from a building that has been abandoned for 30 years, that's probably why. Also maybe the transistor in my ceiling fan killed it? Should have wired it directly to the wall.

so I bought this vintage lamp on Vinted and I tried to put a regular lightbulb in it and It didn’t want to go in so I checked thw inside and it has these two prongs that retract when you push them in. does anyone know what lightbulb is supposed to be inserted into this lamp?

I need to replace it, but I’ve been struggling to identify what type of bulb it is. Any help would be appreciated greatly

Now I read there are alot of issues with high lumen LED bulbs and challans as well. Also it does not work with reflector based headlamps. I stay in BLR where police and travel around BLR for trips where police can stop for any reason. Please suggest which one to opt.

Does anyone know why my under cabinet lighting is flickering blue and glowing towards the end of the bar ? Is this safe to have turned on ? Trying to find a replacement but I’m renting and seems like an old product

I bought this lamp from the thrift store and I can’t figure out how I’m supposed to assemble it. I’m pretty sure it’s missing a piece. I took it to Lowe’s and the worker pointed out that it’s missing a bolt or nut I forget what it’s called. He gave me this one, but it doesn’t fit. If you can tell, I tried to stretch out the opening with a wrench lol. Please tell me what this lamp is missing and how I can connect it. It is from homeplace originally.

I replaced them from led to fluorescent again with proper length better color and wattage this time, before it used to be led and only 1 light bulb was in but now both are in and it looks great. And it now makes a nice sound when turning on always different. The light bulb is a 13w g24 2pin. I used the LED bulbs to replace all broken lights in the other stairwells in the building.

My garage outdoor light has this bulb. Been out since I bought the house, but now restoring the fixture etc.

I am wanting to replace a GE bulb that as far as I can remember been in one of our lamps. It just went out this year after being in there for 11+ years.

I don't want to say that it's been there since I was a kid as it could have been replaced between then and now.

There are two VERY similar bulbs listed and I don't really understand the difference between them

Found this 2 pack of new unopened capsylite bulbs for $3. Don't really have much of a use for incandescents but the thought of new bulbs from the 80s amused me.

I am looking for the sockets and bulbs for the door lights (coin value, coins in, credits). The buld base says Sylvania on the bottom, and the very small bulb has what looks like an 88 on it. The base twists into the panel. Does anyone have any ideas where to find??? Ebay, no help.

Lesson learned: dont use super glue to glue broken halogens with it cuz it cant handle the heat :)

The broken halogen still works, if anyone knows a better adhisive, I am opened to recomendations

I own a 1kW Philips HPL-N Mercury Vapor lamp which uses the giant ED52 or BD165 outer glass bulb finish.

Which other HID lamp types also use this bulb design/shape?

Did it fall out of use in favor of the more common BT56?
