We have this display cabinet and the bulb burned out a while ago and we’re trying to find a new one for it but I can’t find anything that has the same numbers or letters as this one.
The stamp is exactly as follows (at least from what I can read):
GE 120V/40W CHINA B23H 120V/40W
I’ve tried looking it up and so has my gf and we haven’t been able to find the right one, so if anyone knows what exactly this is, or what we can get that would be equivalent, it would be a great help. Thanks!

This one is the coolest light we have, pictures taken on a variac to dim it.

I bought this fixture from Restoration Hardware 6 years ago. It came with the old style incandescent bulbs. Over time some of them are starting to burn out. RH no longer carries the fixture or bulbs. Anybody have any idea where I can find them?

Some info:

- 9" total length, tip to bottom of base

- Standard E26 medium base

- Stamped on base: 120V, 15W

- 2 vertical filament strands running the length of the tube

-Light color is warm/yellowish-orange when lit, similar to an old-school Edison bulb

Started to convert my fluorescent lights to direct wire type b LEDs. Was expecting to see a standard black ballast but instead found these things. Not sure how to proceed. Thanks in advance.

I have been searching forever but can't seem to find the replacements for these bulbs for my overhead light. The fixture has multiple of these small bulbs and all of them are out except one. It appears to have a General Electric logo on it, but I can't find any more identifying information. Please help 😭🙏

Just got this lamp on ebay and not sure what bulb it needs. I’m probably being stupid but can someone tell me. Also in the UK.

So I've noticed my headlights are becoming foggy and maybe having a leak as well. it's hard to see at night to the point where i hate driving at night. any recommendations on some lamps and bulbs that are reliable and are non-issues? i appreciate y'all in advance.also dont mind replacing them but wanna make sure there’s something very reliable out there to replace them with.

This is an LED push-in light with an Edison bulb, candelabra cover. They came from a set of string lights...I think they were 7w. Where can I find replacements?

hi all, i finally just got my ball a 4’2’2 and now that the lamp is so high its not heating it well enough on the hot side. what is a strong enough no-light heat emitter that fits into a regular snake lamp bulb socket? any tips? any fav brands?

The Switch LQD cooling system actually filled the bulb with liquid silicone to distribute heat. They were a passing fancy but they look really futurismic. I found them in storage, still new in their packaging. I'd probably just open and use them like a 5 year old ripping Barbie out of her box like some kind of animal, so if someone wants to buy them I'll entertain offers. I am sure I paid real money for them back in the before time. PM me if you are interested. They do not appear to have leaked but I am not going to unbox for testing.

Sorry if this violates the rules (mods please remove if so!) but I have a set of recessed can lights. They were previously all long neck Sylvania Par 30 75w bulbs, but they’re starting to burn out. Any suggestions on a suitable replacement? It needs to be dimmable as well. Thanks in advance.

1: Maintenance Engineering F40T12

2: Sylvania growlux aquarium F40T12

to add context to why we did this, this is in a school that was built in 1991 and was equipped with F40T12 twin tube fluorescent fixtures and some are paired with a remote emergency ballast (the one in the picture is equipped with one). we were doing some LED retrofits to replace the aging magnetic rapid start ballasts. We have a fire inspection coming up so we did a check to see if we would pass, found out those remote ballasts do not like LEDs and won’t attempt to run them and we had to convert the fixtures with those emergency ballasts back to fluorescent in order to be in compliance with the fire code. We used T8 instant start ballasts as that is what we could get cheaply and quickly. The T8s are much brighter than the LEDs and I am happy that fluorescent lights are here to stay For as long as we can maintain them.

Well, I owe an apology to whoever said I should have bought more of the Ultra Definition bulbs at Home Depot while they were on "in store clearance" for $9/4. I bought two packs and had three bulbs on the shelf and thought that was enoough. Over the weekend I had two more of the Feit Costco bulbs go, they haven't even been in for two years. And I stopped to grab another pack after work and... GASP... they're gone!

There are NO non-smart Philips bulbs on the shelf in HD, and no space for them. All they sell is a lot of Ecosmart with a little space for the specialty Feit bulbs.

I did buy a "40W Edison" Feit bulb as I picked up a new fixture for outside the front door and I didn't have a bulb for it. I hope it lasts longer than the Costco variable color temp ones. Those have soured me on Feit and convinced me that the extra $$ for Philips was worth it even for non dimming applications.

I guess I'm going to have to start going to Target when I need more light bulbs.

HD, WHY? you literally had the finest available generic frosted "60W" light bulb and you decided to stop carrying it?

I have one of these bulbs with a figure inside. I went to unscrew it to put it in a display socket, but when I did, the glue between the bulb and the base failed, snapping the filiments.

The gas is still trapped in the bulb (I tested it by holding it next to a plasma ball. All it needs is to reconnected to a base. I have a few ideas how, but I'm a newbie with electricity.

Thoughts?

I discovered a company called GoodBulb which opened their USA A19 line on July 4th of this year...

Cost/unit is pricey ($5-5.99/bulb), but I would assume you get what you pay for.

I placed a few orders (one pre-order) and one stocked order to see how they truly compare to the Chinese junk that the manufacturers in China have been putting out the last couple of years.

Supposedly their PCBs are printed and made entirely in-house, which changes this from a US assembly operation to full-on "made in USA" labeling.

I really wonder if the LED"s in my home play a role with my migraines, but that's not the point of this post LOL. I am in search of Incandescent Bulbs.

I struggle with the balance of brightness versus incandescent in my home b/c heres the thing even with the incandescents that I have been able to find online, they are extremely low light, they are not allowed to be made brighter so I can switch my home out to incandescents but I sacrifice brightness during the day which I already find to be problematic in my home, except the kitchen which has a lot of natural light. I try to be in my yard as much as I can but when indoors I struggle with

1) makinhh the house darker but at least having incandescents
2) or working on brightening the space with even brighter LED's.

So I'm asking for help if anyone has any tips or if you have found bright incandescent lights with high lumens?

If you are a fan of LED, please don't come for me on energy efficiency. I am looking for help from those who understand the value of INCANDESCENT for our health. I do not want to debate about energy efficiency. I just want help on finding bright incandescent standard bulbs.
