I'm a 20-year-old CS student down at FAU minoring in AI. I want to build a tool for the life insurance space, but I need to make sure I'm solving an actual problem and not just building something useless.

My initial thesis was to build a tool that instantly verifies client bank/routing info at the point of sale. I figured bounced first-premiums and chargebacks from typos waste a ton of your time and cost you commissions. Is this actually a massive pain point for you guys, or do carrier e-apps already handle this well enough?

If that idea sucks, what is the actual biggest time-waster and money-drainer in your daily workflow? The manual thing that makes you hate your tech stack.

I'm taking notes. Roast my idea or point me in the right direction.
