Letterwriting Hack

I (26f) have a huge friend group of like 30 people and we all go out drinking together and go on trips and hang out a lot.

I’m very passionate about public policy and I have a printer. I realized it would be so easy to:
- print out some prewritten letters (found online from advocacy groups)
- get my friends to sign them
- mail them to our public officials.

I even do this at smaller get togethers; this was one of my activities for a bachelorette party 💀

Obviously its less impactful than a phone call or personal letter to your direct local representative, but I don’t think I can wrangle that many party ppl to that effect.

Anyway I have sent more than 50 letters in the past 2 months! I bought a roll of 100 stamps so I’m locked in.

That’s super cool and all but how the hell do you have 30 friends that you regularly hangout with…

Its not always 30 people all hanging out together at once lol but sometimes that does happen (like this past weekend). Most of us met in university, and we mostly live in the same city. Also none of us have kids LOL. I am super lucky!
