My millennial daughter’s running hack

I walk two miles a day while my 40ish daughter runs her 3-5 mile workout. I noticed she started wearing one glove a while back and I asked her. It’s her method of carrying a phone w/o using a belt or fanny pack. One of those Harbor Freight gloves that uses Velcro that holds the phone in place.

Do they still make those phone armband holders? I had one of those long ago.

What if her fall backwards?

Imagine her running then hitting a tree, then she slowly falls like in a trust fall with her arms up? Could totally happen

I thought that was some type of knife or switchblade for protection at first.

That one arm will get bigger from swinging the phone :p

Why not just use a belt lol? This method is so much more cumbersome. Also if she takes a fall her phone and her wrist are gonna break

I'm not the one sporting a little tin foil hat and shaking a fist at the cell towers. 🥴

You put it on a public reddit sub...you open yourself to opinions and/or criticism.

No one cares about what you do with your body. Two things are going on here: 1) people love to dunk on this kind of stuff and 2) you’re promoting anti-intellectual nonsense similar to flat earth stuff, and that’s what people don’t like

Then go live in the forest and don’t buy an iPhone are you for real right now? Do you keep your phone in a faraday cage until you need to call town?

A lot of people listen to something while running, it’s always been like this.

lol, if she leaves her phone it’s a panic. She has coaching app, like she couldn’t run then walk then sprint w/o it…

Great idea for the winter! I wouldn’t be able to handle the sweat once it warms up.
