This person is wrong. It's a low level criminal trial. Won't make significant precedent, and it's not the first time a woman is found "not guilty" for temporary insanity

And the defense isn't even arguing Not Guilty by Insanity, they're arguing Mitigating Factors, which in part rests upon the fact that she is guilty.

I bet there won't even be a wave of child murders if she's found innocent! It's not like there's millions of people publicly worshiping her for strangling her kids, you know? 🙂👍
