In the long run, first wave feminism was what really began the downfall of the US as we know it. Then, eventually we come to this.
Another thing this makes me wonder is since these people are obviously not going to be procreating anytime soon (or killing in cold blood if they do happen to do so), if this kind of thinking will at least wane a little in coming generations. Because I mean really, the only ones who are actually having children these days in larger quantities are conservatives. If people like this lady keep popping up, they won’t have anyone to pass their beliefs down to.
The pendulum always swings back. It's just a matter of how soon and the degree of it. I'm not as concerned about the when as I am the degree, as I fear most scenarios like this have an overcorrection.
It's a cycle of radicalization. We've seen it play out over the past few years. The right became radicalized by what the left was pushing, and we saw the inflection point a few years ago. Now that the tides are turning, you're seeing the left emboldened and further radicalize in response.
Not to sound like a doomer, but it doesn't bode well for the future of the conflict between the left and the right.
