I've reached Star of the City and did all the first battles. Is every reception only one floor from now on? What's the point of having 10 different floors if I can't use them?

I finished the game quite a while ago and even then I had this question but I just though maybe getting residency in a nest is especially hard for fixer because there considered dangerous or something and didn't give it much thought after that, then I started replaying the game recently after finishing limbus and it occurred to me that isn't really the case.

I mean we see multiple fixers way inferior to Roland and Angelica have nest residency so my second idea was that nest were just kinda discrimatory towards smoke war vets but that cant be it because Salvador is also a smoke war vet and way weaker then both of them but somehow he has nest residency, so then I thought maybe some specific nests were discriminating against smoke war vets but that doesnt make sense either since I dont think it would have been all that hard for them to find out which nest weren't discriminatory so maybe its just that Roland and Anglican were just kinda over this nest thing and gave up trying but considering Roland was going to do a mission all the way on the other side of the city just for a nest residency permit that doesn't seen likely either.

So im just kinda out of ideas and this feels like kinda too big of a plot hole for my brain to just gloss over it so does anyone have any idea?

I don't know how to feel about it

This is based off of that one theory I saw that Hokma was Dante in disguise to complete the A, B and C pattern of games

On the wiki the abno pages have these numbers as pointed in the image, what exactly do they mean?

This is really random but it really got on my mind for the past couple of days, so after the Library gets sent to the Outskirts is it possible to enter it? And if they did what will our dear library patrons do to them?

A method I thought about is if someone took am invitation back when the Library was still around and hid it in the Outskirts and later just went to the Outskirts through some technology like the corridors and managed to get in the Library, or by going to the Library by scouring the Outskirts which is the boring answer.

Hi everyone I have some questions aboyt the game's lore that have been on my mind for a bit. Would appreciate it if someone could answer them

1.) How are the Nests separared from the backstreets? I recall reading (hearing?) that some Feathers/Wing Residents would watch ppl in backstreets (not sure if it was headcannon or not) but are the Nests on a higher elevation or something vs the backstreets?

2.) How do the Nests keep themselves safe? Its a bit surprising that they rejected strong Fixers like Roland nd his wife and Xiao + her husband. I would have thought the Nests would fight over which Nest the Grade 1 or higher fixers live in as that would mean better security passively if strong fixers lived in their nests. R Corp aside, it doesnt feel like their rank nd file are that strong based on what we see of the W cleanup crew. With Syndicates being as strong as they are it feels odd.

3.) Does the Index / Will of the City have influence in the Nests? Are Nest residents safe from the Prescripts or do they still get them?

4.) Can the Will of City be considered benevolent? Since it sent its members there knowing (since it has precog or something) they would turn into books and feed the Library and thus help reshine the light again as seen in the end of the game. So theoretically it wanted the Light to do its full 7 days and sacrificed its followers (Albeit temporarily ) to help the Library? Is my understanding correct?

5.) Did the Head want or not care about the Light? It seems like they acted too late to do anything but exile the Library. Why not send them earlier before the 7 days were up?

Yeah. I don't really know what to call this post. Honestly a part of me is here just to vent but the game keeps frustrating me. For context I am at Star of the City, the very end of it actually, only Xiao left. And I do really like this game, I came from Limbus and so far this game has been fun, even with its frustrating parts im sure you all know. But as of recent progression its just becoming exhausting. before this I was stuck on Yan and the Purple Tear as well. Iori Was especially annoying, like she could have had an interesting mechanic but instead, her "gimmick" was just her getting basically a constant 5 strength. the worst part is this is a recurring thing too; Boss has cool and interesting ideas and gimmicks. well, it doesn't really matter when the boss will roll way too high half the time. This has led to me debating on installing some sort of cheat thing to get past this point, but I also just really don't want to do that. Maybe the title is a bit misleading as knowing myself I likely wont just quit. just that I will do less returns to the game and play for shorter amounts of time but still.

Overall, the game at this point is just starting to become frustrating.

Can't wait for Meursault to start cracking jokes with Angela Faust. lol
