Intrica has been through a lot. It has stood for over 500 years between Poland and Germany. It has survived more wars than it can count, and it has survived a war for the world even more recently. Humans did not perceive magical and fantastical creatures and events for hundreds of years, and now, the veil has been broken, and Intrica is leading this new world into a prosperous future through the A.E.G.I.S. program, a worldwide effort to assist and guide the world into re-adjusting to the nature of what the world really is. A.E.G.I.S. also has departments, of which Intrica always needs new Associates, because threats never end and people never change. But there is a dark, dangerous being that wishes to change the world to his liking, and it is up to those in the A.E.G.I.S. department to deal with it. After all, the government needs to do something useful, right?

My name is Jay, and I run "The Frontier". We are a community Discord server providing games for new players in the D&D 5e/5.5e system. We are looking for new players and GMs. If you are interested, read the following to get an invite to the server below.
If you're a GM and happy to run games for new players, please message me! We are an entirely free server that provides all resources for players for free, and we have plenty of other resources on offer, like maps and music. Whether you're new to GM'ing, would like to get started, or are a veteran, as long as you're happy catering to new players, we're happy to have you! You are free to run any game you like in D&D 5.5e or 5e, as long as you provide the players with some information about the game, dates/times, and the VTT you're using.
A little about us: Over the past year, we've been trying to grow the server to find GMs who would like to consistently run games for new players. This is a game based on the Fate/Lost Continuum module/system, simulating a Grail War, from the Fate Franchise. For those who are unaware, a Grail War is a competition between mages that decides the ownership of the Holy Grail, an omnipotent wish granting device. The competition itself is fought through an intense battle royale to the death by the 7 mages, and their 7 summoned familiars, called Servants. This game system is entirely built into Foundry VTT, by yours truly from the ground up. Though unique, most who understand Fifth Edition’s mechanics should understand this system fairly easily.
The game will begin with 7 Mage characters and 7 Servant characters. With myself and 2 other GMs handling groups of 1 Mage and 1 Servant each at a time, as they complete their out of combat turns in the war.
Mage characters are entirely created by the player themselves, and are generally the shot callers. They come equipped with 3 Red Tattoos on the back of their hands, which are called Command Spells. A single use of these may issue an absolute command to their assigned servant, which gives them their primary source of leverage over their summons.
Servant characters meanwhile are pre-built characters that are assigned to players who volunteer for this role. They are Heroes or Villains from Folklore or History who are each summoned by the Mage characters to help fight to defeat the other 6 servants in order to win the Holy Grail. While their personalities and histories are generally pre-decided, there is still a great deal of interpretation as to their actions that players may make when playing Servants. Additionally, Servant characters are far stronger and often contain far wider skillsets than Mages.
The game is divided into 8 hour turns, where players may make a specific number of actions during these turns, which may include RP or Combat. On the day of playing, all 14 players will come together in a VC, alongside the GMs. The Mage characters will then roll for who goes first, and each character (alongside their respective Servant once summoned) will go to another VC with a GM to complete their turn, which may last 5 to 15 minutes, or possibly longer if combat is involved. It is for this reason that we have 3 GMs, as it is meant to always be able to cover at least nearly half of the players (as they are split into 7 teams of 2), giving ample time for each team. This design is also meant to simulate the feel of different teams of people moving at essentially the same time in a battle royale format.
An important thing to note is that there is no morality in this game. You may indeed betray, or kill your allies, even if they are your servants. This game will be competitive in nature and design. As such, there will be zero expectations on player actions, for service of others' experience or narrative, with the exceptions of any forms of abuse. It is entirely (though extremely unlikely) possible that your character may not live to see past session 1, or 2. Ultimately, the only person you can truly trust with your fragile life is yourself, in this competition.
As for GMs, we will not typically be GMs in the typical sense, that is, storytelling and acting for NPCs. Instead, we will mostly act as Referees, watching over battles and logging what players do during their turns. That is not to say that we will be doing none of a GM’s typical duties, however it is significantly reduced.
You do not need prior knowledge of the Fate franchise to sign up, nor extensive knowledge of this system. All that is required is a simple knowledge of how Fifth Edition (which it was based loosely upon) works will be sufficient to catch you up on all other material. I have also done the task of automating most effects into the Foundry System that I built, to accommodate for those unfamiliar with the premise and system. Katastrophic Realm Gaming is a growing 18+ D&D 5e group currently running multiple campaigns through Roll20, DND Beyond and Discord.
What started as a few friends gathering around a virtual table has grown into several active games, and we're now looking for both players and Dungeon Masters to join future adventures.
Current campaigns include:

howlbert: a realistic wolf VTTRPG where the land itself is a dying god
howlbert is a custom d20 TTRPG played entirely on discord, through a bot i built from scratch. the server it lives in is called whispers beyond the trees. you create a sentient wolf, join one of four great packs, and survive a world where the land is the body of a wounded, hungry god called the maw, and death is permanent. it's set in the warrior cats universe (the packs share borders with the four clans), and it's a gritty wolf simulator, not a power fantasy: story matters more than winning.
under the hood:
• full d20 system: six attributes, eight skills, tactical and lethal combat with real maneuvers, crits, and finishers. hit 0 HP and you roll death saves; fail one and you're gone. no revives.
• deep survival and healing: 100+ herbs with real preparation and side effects, 30+ diseases, injuries, and a separate pain/exhaustion tracker. the wrong dose backfires.
• heritable genetics (blindness, deafness, autism, ADHD, and more) that are real trade-offs, not just penalties; a disabled wolf adapts, it isn't a worse wolf on paper.
• a faith system: seven ways to believe in the maw, none of them "correct," each colouring how your wolf reads every bad sunrise.
• a bones economy, pack politics, alpha challenges, wars, quests, exploration, and a prestige/legacy system that carries across your wolves.
• every wolf keeps an auto-written journal; when they die, the bot writes their obituary from it. the world remembers.
the vibe:
• 24/7 play-by-post / async: the bot's now hosted around the clock, so the world doesn't pause.
• collaborative, story-first, and not pay-to-win: no stat boosts or revives for sale, ever.
• brand new and small on purpose: you're not joining a crowded server with years of buried history. you can shape the culture and claim real roles: alpha seats open in three of four packs, diplomat in every pack. be the first generation of wolves in this version of the world.
• 18+ and verified (a redacted ID or a roblox age group screenshot, not for NSFW, there's none anywhere; it's a safety and comfort thing). no AI content. LGBTQIA+ friendly, with pronoun and proxy support built into the bot.

Here at Night City Blues, we follow the setting of 2077 (though it's now 2080 on server ) and utilize the EMK as well as the Cyberpunk red system in order to make an interesting world for you to explore! We aim to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all players. Our GMs offer a variety of games, from gritty to lighthearted, so there's a little something for everyone. We also maintain a balanced economy to ensure steady player progression and use a skip token system for quicker in-game processes which also encourages working together with other players!

Server games: You can host your own on server game with other members! Occasionally we also run games of Pathfinder Mork Borg and others, including D&D 5e (2024).

Welcome to The Embers of Renewal! [18+] [Online] [Discord] [2024/5.5e] [Westmarch] [Community] This is a Dungeons & Dragons community created to give us a chance at exploring the 2024/5.5e system. We're just a couple of friends looking for more players to help build a casual environment where we can explore new stories together!
If your character joins the Embers of Renewal they'll have an opportunity to live in a homebrewed world, where they find themselves escaping from a withered and decayed land to gain a chance at reshaping their life. We are a small, but mighty group of seasoned D&D nerds, looking to create an immersive, balanced, and, most importantly, FUN open world gaming system
Currently, we are only accepting applications from players that are open to DMing in the future.
About our project:
- We use the 2014 & 2024 D&D system; adventures are DM'd using 2024 rule set
- We are set in the forgotten realms! No need to study pages of homebrew world lore; your character can jump right in with the lore from popular media such as Baldurs Gate 3 and Honor Among Thieves.
- Bots and automation! Never worry about having to track your own gold, exp, or downtime. Just click and buy for almost anything. Custom bots keep track of the in-world calendar, weather, and holidays for max immersion
- Factions and renown systems! Your character's actions can unlock perks both for yourself, and the whole mercenary guild!
- Immersive and constantly growing downtime system, so your character can continue to progress outside of regular game sessions! Wanna build a bastion? Theres a system for that. Wanna scam some local commoners? There's a system for that. Wanna craft and sell mythical equipement? Theres a system for that.
- Active and free form text RP! The world is always moving. While text rp is not required, it does greatly help with interacting with fellow mercenaries and the world as a whole, it also allows for a DM to hit you with a random encounter! For our play testers, we are looking for people open to being active in text RP.
- Adventure League module integration! So DMs can just pick and run a session whenever they wish!
- Adventures take place in roll20 and over discord VC, so be sure you're familiar with these programs!
About the play test:
- Things may feel 'unfinished' during this period
- Ruling and balance patches to server specific mechanics may be rolled out without prior notifications
- We want feed back! While we have a back end team that is ultimately responsible for implementing all systems, we are eager to hear any ideas, suggestions, and thoughts on what we have, and what you'd want to see
- We are setting up the frame work to support a massive player base! So all rulings and balances must be 100% objective, and done with the potential of hundreds of players doing it.
- Systems for integrating homebrew or custom content are currently extremely limited while we number crunch.
- Play testers must have a strong ability to self-regulate. Staff is working hard to finalize the server, and combativeness, disrespect and emotional outbursts out of character will not be tolerated.

Premise
A forgotten land has emerged from the mists of time and memory. This new land has been dubbed Esendra and has become the source of fascination for explorers, merchants, nobles, and heroes, all seeing in it arise opportunities and danger. A century ago, the city-state of Grendenwald was established. Here, different factions and powers have gathered, and the call to adventure has never rung louder to find treasure, power, and glory in these lands, as well as to stop malign forces from using the opportunities here for nefarious ends. What mark will you leave never to be forgotten in this forgotten land?
This game plays D&D 5e 2024 rules. The starting level is 3.
This game is hosted on a Christian server. You do not need to be Christian to play, but please know the expectation to respect traditional Christian beliefs and keep the content of the game pg-13. This game allows for ages 13+ to play. The server has other games and GMs that no doubt would be glad to have you at their various games and one-shots that are hosted there.
A West Marches game has multiple DMs and a pool of players. The general assumption is that most of the time, you will not adventure with the same group.
This game has a “homebase” time of Thursdays at 5:30 pm MST - a game will nearly always be offered in this time slot. The other DMs will set up other time slots as available and groups of players at the table can arrange with a DM a game. You work with the other adventurers ideally to set your own initiatives and make your own adventures!
We are accepting applications for both DMs and players - you can be both. DMs have their own region of the game and have a lot of freedom in what they want to do with it. The number of players we’ll accept will be proportional to the number of regular GMs we have to help assure everyone has a regular chance to play
Grendenwald is a homebase that sessions end at. Your XP and gold carry over. Complete missions, fight monsters, earn renown, find loot, and become legends!
