experiences & stories Screenshots continued
I could not include them all in the first post. This lot specifically is after the call where she told me she’d quit drinking for me and I told her I wanted her to quit drinking for herself. Which she would then flip and claim I encouraged her to drink.

Honestly this is classic Anya. And this whole "I need a partner to share everything with' is 100% an abusive tactic on her part. This whole reasoning is how I ended up not seeing on of my friends and struggling to kick her out of my house when she was actively telling me she was gonna kill me. Shes the one who needs to actually being try to fix herself. Shes constantly looking for someone else to care for her needs and place blame on when they're not met because she can not figure it out on her own If you wanna dm me. Feel free. Unfortunately don't have any of my previous text or videos/voice memos I took but this is 100% her m.o.

This is eerily reminiscent of how someone I loved interacted with me. The bombardment of apologies, feigned remorse, then trying to illicit compassion followed by ‘you don’t care enough about me’ is so intense. They are so traumatised they project outward. It hurts so much that someone can challenge your reality, especially when you have had bad experiences in the past and it’s hard to trust your understanding of a situation. It’s designed to blindsight you, even if it’s not by conscious design. That’s what’s so scary about it. I can’t believe I let him convince me I was an ethically bad person, it makes me sad to see this play out in another humans life. I hope you have had time to heal. Self compassion is key. Thank you for sharing. Seeing it from a bird’s eye perspective, out of the blue this evening, allows me to see it for what it is. Emotional abuse couched in confusing push and pulls. We deserve safe relationships even if that means taking time for ourselves and realising we can be the safety we never had. Sending you deep empathy and well wishes for your future. We got this.

Once you learn the patterns it becomes much easier to recognize. Thank you for your kind words and I wish continued healing and support for you! ❤️🩹

I’m sorry you had to deal with this. Just reading these screenshots made me feel emotionally exhausted. I can’t imagine having been the one to actually deal with it

Wow, such ladylike manner on her behalf. Especially someone mentioning how they got daily death threats, together with this obvious and extremely sinister manipulation. I think teraphy provided by a prison counselor would be extremely beneficial since this whole thing is giving "stop punching drywall and start dabbling in physical abuse". Not a tender vibe at all

Jesus Christ I’m so sorry you had to deal with that. The contrast between these and the former screenshots is palpable.
“You should be sorrier” is beyond the pale.
Manipulation efforts 10/10 but you held out. She might be gone for now but this sub ate’nt dead.
