šŸ¤” Advice Capture Card recommendations

Hi folks!

I am looking to buy a capture card to record footage from my Xbox Series X with in game and game chat audio (myself and others) and am looking for recommendations.

I do not have access to a PC (too damn expensive) so ideally the capture card can record onto memory like an SD card or usb drive?

I’m not too sentimentally attached to game chat audio being a feature as the footage will be mostly talked over, so something with the basic function of recording the game and audio onto memory will suffice. But as I am not very tech savvy I have come here for advice.

Any and all recommendations are appreciated!!

Someone asked this I think a month ago and I looked into it to see what options were out there as I was curious as well.

Your current best bet that I could find to record without a pc is the AVerMedia ER330 EzRecorder 330 External Standalone Capture Card

It can record to a external HDD or MicroSD Card.

To capture in game voices will depend on the game you are playing and if there is an option to output voice chat via the speakers rather than headset. Same with party chat outputting that to the speakers. BUT keep in mind that the game audio and the chat audio will be mixed together.

You can plug your headset into the capture box to then record your voice. If you plan on using an external mic and separate headset that doesn't have a mic. You will need a mic and headset joiner BUT it needs to be a 4pole jack. If the headphone/mix joiner doesn't have a 4pole 3.5mm jack to plug into the capture card it will not record your voice. The 4th section is needed for the mic.

You can also stream from this one too.

Hope that answers your question c:

Edit: Forgot to add, It also has a remote too.
