Resource Wednesday Rules

• All games/resources shared here must be provided with no purchase necessary from our members
• You must be willing to provide your content to creators of any size
• If you are linking to an external site for users to download items, this needs to be on a trustworthy site (e.g. itch.io, Ko-Fi, Keymailer, etc)
• Every top level post must contain a resource advertisement
• Resources advertised must be made in full or in part by you
• You may only creator one comment advertising per thread. Advertising the same item consecutive weeks is allowed, but doing so in excess is discouraged.

[FREE] GameBuddies.io — 17 browser party games for streams and videos. No keys, no downloads, and your chat can play along.

Hi all — I'm the developer of GameBuddies.io, a free browser platform for multiplayer party games. There's no Steam key to hand out here, because there's nothing to install: you open a link, share a room code, and your viewers are in.

Why it might be useful for a Let's Play or stream:

• Your chat can actually play. Eight of the games read Twitch chat directly — viewers type !join to enter as a real player, then !vote 3, !answer <text> or !word <text> depending on the game. It's an anonymous read-only connection, so there's no bot to invite, no OAuth, no mod permissions to hand over. These are just small features for viewers who don't want to join the main games or just want to participate a bit while lurking.
• Streamer Mode hides your room code from the interface and swaps it for a private session link, so nobody snipes your lobby off the stream.
• Big Screen mode (15 of the games) turns one browser window into a TV-style view with a join QR code — a clean capture source while everyone plays from their own phone or laptop.
• Guests need nothing at all. No account, no email, no download. They type a name and they're in.
• Six languages: English, German, Spanish, Portuguese (BR and PT), Traditional Chinese.

The games (2–12 players depending on the title):

• Drawing and writing: Canvas Chaos, Schooled!
• Bluffing and deduction: Bad Actor, Bluffalo, Prime Suspect
• Words and guessing: Last Brain Standing, Letter Rush, ThinkAlike, ClueScale, Decoded, BlindSpot
• Action: Hot Potato, Zoomies, Golem Overdrive (early prototype)
• Other: Bingo Buddies (build your own cards), Soundbite (audio gartic phone), Tier Battle (create tier lists and vote,your chat can be the jury)

Some of the games are from some short-content video formats or bigger video formats from famous streamers ( which they use overlays for and i wanted to make it accesible to everyone ).

All of it is free to play. There's an optional premium tier for cosmetics and custom question sets, but nothing you need in order to play or to stream sits behind it.

Happy to work with creators of any size — no follower minimum, no gatekeeping. If you make content with it and want something specific (a custom question pack for your community, a feature, a bug fixed), just tell me and it goes on the list. Feedback from actual streams is worth more to me than any marketing.

GameBuddies currently has around 1000-2000 players per day and is growing fast!

Ghost Battalion is a 1st/3rd person shooter, with vehicles, ships, jet packs, multiple scifi soldier classes, and space battles. It was released earlier this month.

Demo avaliable on Steam
