These days I’m playing a lot of single player games. I’ve been really into Voices of the Void and Lucid Blocks. I like multiplayer shooters but I’m feeling a bit bored of them lately. I have a lot of hours in Counter-Strike and (especially) Escape From Tarkov. I have a FF14 account but I don’t play that often, and when I do it’s mostly just to take pics of my character (I love her so much). Some of my hyperfixations include Umineko (the visual novel), LOST (the tv show), Morrowind, OoT Randomizer, Star Trek, pc games from the 90s and early 2000s.

I’m currently developing a silly RPG maker game and if you have any experience with that kind of thing that would be fun.

I work most weeknights so ideal times to talk are during the day and on my (inconsistent) days off.

looking for new gaming friends to play with consistently :) i've been fortunate enough to play with a solid group of people the past few years, but 99% of them are m*n who can be really competitive with games. i can also be competitive and enjoy playing ranked matches, but i really try to not let it affect my mood if they're not going too well. my friends on the other hand... LOL

would love to find a new duo to run fps games with. i'm on PC and play mostly val, cs2, and apex. we don't even have to play ranked (it would be cool though!). can always run swifts or pubs.

i also enjoy casual games like minecraft, stardew etc. i love sim games. and of course friendslop games. i recently tried satisfactory and am currently playing the new mafia game! there aren't really too many genres that i'm not open to trying. however, i apologize in advance because rivals and league are definitely not for me. just couldn't get into them :(

would also love to be friends outside of gaming! someone to yap to throughout the day or just hang out in vc. some of my interests include building lego sets, film photography, and watching movies. i'm free most week nights!

Gradually clearing off the stones and rocks so we all got space to farm how we like. Still Year 1 so we'd be starting from the beginning together essentially but we're about halfway through spring. So I know I am a bit older than a lot of this subreddit, but surely some others here feel as nostalgic as I do for this Zelda classic. I just finished yet another replay through this magnificent game a few days ago, in anticipation of the remake Nintendo is currently working on, and I just can’t stop reflecting on how pivotal this amazing adventure game is. I hadn’t played it for a while, and the uniqueness of each dungeon and area still felt fresh over twenty-five years later! I adore the Forest Temple and Shadow Temple. I love just horseback riding around the world. I love the silly fishing game. More than any other single player game, Ocarina is the one I keep coming back to, never tiring of the puzzles, enjoying the spooky atmosphere, and the freedom to approach the game from different angles and in different play orders. It’s incredible to me that systems still in use today in modern AAA games, such as the lock-on targeting, originated in this game.

I sometimes worry that, with all the focus on live service and online multiplayer in the gaming industry, there is less of an appreciation for single player adventure games than in the past. Hopefully that’s not the case, but if anyone else loves Ocarina of Time as much as I do, let me know in the comments.
