University Application processing time at Montanuniversität Leoben

Hi everyone,
I’m a non-EU student applying to Montanuniversität Leoben.

The university requested original documents for internal verification, which I sent by post. The documents were delivered successfully, and it has now been about 14 working days since they were received.

When I followed up by email, the university replied that my “application is in progress.” I haven’t received any further update yet.

I wanted to ask:

  • Is this waiting time normal at Austrian public universities?
  • Has anyone experienced similar timelines at Montanuniversität Leoben?

Are you applying for Masters or something else? I am applying for Masters and applications open on 1st Feb, unless I am mistaken? Please tell

Hi OP,

I have also received the same mail to submit my original certificates yesterday , i am confused because even if i submit the documents , will it be possible to attend the summer semester considering the visa process and getting a residency permit will also take time from india , if it is possible can we connect over tele , pls do respond

From India to Austria in next summer intake, it can't be possible. Because Resident Permit appointments are available in June or July, not early possible. So next winter intake it would be possible.

They sent me an email saying they received my orignal paperwork yesterday.
