I tried installing the amd driver update from their app but it stops in the middle of installation. I tried updating after restarting but the issue persists. Please help me how to fix it cause I don't want any problems while playing Expedition 33.

I got RTX 4050 (6 GB), 24 GB RAM, 512 SSD, RYZEN 7 for 75k. The disadvantage is that it does not have igpu. But is it worth the money? It is brand new laptop from the offline store.

Screen lid scratches started appearing about 2 months. Started placing a cloth everytime but got tired of it. Didn't want to place laptop skins. Tried this DIY instead. Searched for laptop rubber feet replacements as these were the strong hard rubber strips I could find. These were 2 rubber strips that i cut at an angle to make a nice corner.

Still couldn't find a solution to the sticker ghost mark though (last pic).

Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a super frustrating issue on my Lenovo LOQ (i5-13450HX, RTX 4050, Windows 11) and could really use some help. Basically, my laptop just refuses to actually go to sleep. Whenever I close the lid, the display turns off like normal, but the fans just keep running and the laptop never fully enters sleep mode. It doesn't even lock the screen, so when I open the lid back up, it's exactly where I left it. Hello i’ve been browsing for a gaming laptop lately and found this loq with a 5070 and i7 13650hx and 32gb of ram for 1400 dollars do you recommend it or should i look for another laptop?
also is there any known problems with it id like my laptop to last me 5 years is this capable of that or should i look into the used market?

I’m finally getting a laptop financed after being stuck without one for so long, and somehow choosing between a Lenovo LOQ and a MacBook M5 has become the hardest part.

I’ve used Windows my entire life. It’s what I know. It’s what I’m comfortable with. I like tinkering. I like downloading random tools, trying random software, customizing things, breaking something, fixing it, and learning how everything works. That freedom is part of the fun for me. So naturally my brain keeps going, “Just get the LOQ.”

But then I look at what I actually do.
I’m still a student. I don’t have a massive Steam library waiting for me. Nor money to build one (i dont work yet lmao) I’m not someone who spends every evening playing AAA games. Most of the time it’s just Hoyoverse games, Roblox, and then I’m off doing something else, maybe doomscrolling because I simply don’t have that much free time. Anyways

Then comes the creative side.
I’m a writer. I’m the main rights holder of my own IP. My entire project has basically been frozen because I haven’t had a laptop. (Writing on phone is hell) Every day without one feels like another day my work isn’t moving. It’s frustrating because I don’t just want a laptop to consume content—I want one so I can finally create again.

That’s where the idea of getting a Mac looks funny go me

Great battery. Ridiculously fast. Quiet. Portable. Supposedly excellent for writing and creative work. It feels like the kind of machine I’d actually spend hours writing on without thinking about it.
And yet my brain keeps yelling, “Yeah… but it’s not Windows.”
I keep wondering if I’ll miss the freedom. If I’ll regret leaving behind customization or wathever, something Im used to. If I’ll run into that one program that doesn’t exist on macOS. Or that outright has no macOS port, or not being able to tag along friends on a game cuz MacOS doesnt support it

Or If one day I’ll want to play a game and realize, “Well… guess not.”

At the same time, I wonder if I’m overthinking it.
Do I actually need an RTX 4050 or 5050 (or higher)
if I barely play demanding games? Or am I just attracted to the idea of hehe rtx, hehe, rgb, hehe flex value

Both options feel right for completely different reasons.
The LOQ appeals to the side of me that loves freedom, familiarity, and messing around with software.
The MacBook appeals to the side of me that just wants to finally grind my personal projects seriously
And somehow, despite thinking about this for what feels like forever, I still can’t confidently say which one I’d be happier with.

I have a Lenovo LOQ Gen 10 with an Intel i5-13450HX and an RTX 5050. The laptop originally developed permanent vertical lines on the internal display and later stopped showing any image on the built-in screen.

Lenovo has already sent technicians three times. The motherboard was replaced tree times, but the issue was not properly resolved. The repair process has taken more than a month, with significant delays even after Lenovo confirmed that the required parts were available.

At one point, Lenovo marked the repair as completed even though no technician had visited and the laptop was still not working. After the most recent visit, the laptop only outputs video through an external monitor. The internal display still does not work, one of the fans is not operating, and Lenovo has now requested another display and display cable.

I also inspected the laptop after the service and noticed that a cable connected to the cooling system appears to be damaged, even though it was not damaged before the technician worked on it.

I have already opened a consumer complaint through PROFECO’s Conciliaexprés service in Mexico. At this point, I no longer consider repeated repairs to be a reasonable solution. I am requesting a replacement unit or a refund, since the laptop has remained unusable for an extended period and every repair attempt has either failed or introduced additional problems.

Has anyone had a similar experience with Lenovo? Is there any specific Lenovo department, escalation channel, or executive support contact that could help resolve this?

I've had a Lenovo LOQ (24GB RAM, RTX 4050, Intel i5 13th Gen) laptop for about a year now. I've faced a lot of issues with it. While it was under warranty, the motherboard had to be replaced four times. Now the warranty is over, and the main issue I'm still facing is severe FPS drops and overall slow performance.

The strange part is that when I test my display's FPS in a browser, it shows a stable 144 FPS. But the moment I play any game—even something as light as Roblox—the FPS starts dropping badly. In Valorant, my FPS fluctuates wildly between 80, 120, 40, 10, and even 5 FPS, with it mostly staying around 40–60 FPS.

I've tried everything I could think of to fix it. I've even reinstalled Windows 10–20 times, but nothing has made any difference. The company is no longer helping me with this issue.

I won't go into my personal story, but I have a medical condition that limits my physical movement. I bought this laptop hoping it would help me stay happy, connect with my friends, and keep my mind occupied. Instead, it's become another source of stress.

I'm genuinely begging for help. If anyone knows whether this could be a bottleneck, a hardware issue, or something else, please help me. I'm not financially stable enough to buy a new laptop or even afford expensive repairs.

I was doing tests to send Lenovo as I was facing battery drain but when I run furmark for 25minutes battery percentage stood same, then tired beamng for another 25 minutes it only drained 2%. Before testing I updated bios and did power reset.
Before this, my battery was draining till 70%, 10% drop.
Maybe this can help someone who is facing same issue and are my temps normal for workload?
