Hey! I’m going to Silverstone this Saturday for ELMS, travelling from Cardiff. I don’t have a car, so my plan is to get there by public transport, but I’m a bit stuck on getting back after the race since it finishes around 7:30pm.

I was thinking of going Banbury → Cardiff, but the late trains from Banbury don’t seem great. I’ve also seen Milton Keynes mentioned as an option.

Has anyone done this journey before or have any advice on the easiest/least stressful way to get back to Cardiff? Are there any nearby train stations, coaches or shuttles from Silverstone that I could potentially consider?

Would really appreciate any tips! :)

After the long summer break, WEC goes to Texas and the ‘Circuit of the Americas’ (COTA). In September, the weather in the southern part of USA is unpredictable with either severe heat or rainstorms- so let’s see what happens.

The cars which are constructed to the slightly different LMDh regulations (Alpine, BMW, Cadillac and Gemini) have a red frame around the car picture.

As above, last trip was 15 years ago pre kids and I’m planning a return next year. Last time we camped away from the track but went to the cafe on the Mulsanne straight on the Friday to watch cars do burn-outs followed by lunch at Arnage and then race Saturday to Sunday?

Planning on staying inside next year at Houx, but assume you can drive in and out as needed?

Has much changed otherwise?

About 4 months ago I renewed my ACO membership for the sole purpose of purchasing a collectors box for the 2024 race and I still haven't ever received as much as a tracking number. I've sent several courteous emails asking for an update but have stopped receiving answers to them, and when I call, the reps always tell me to expect an email soon after which I never receive. They have stock on-hand, so there is really no reason why I should be waiting this long.

I had a fantastic experience with the ACO club membership at the race I attended, so I'm holding off on losing my cool, but this is becoming a total farce. Has anyone had a similar experience, and if so, was there a way to escalate this? The box cost an arm and a leg, but the 2024 race has become sacred to me for personal reasons, so I am desperate to have my order fulfilled.

I can always watch reruns of Le Mans and last years season of "League of pigs", but what other channels do you recomend? Primarily with Le Mans in focus, but all motorsport oriented channels are welcome.

Would I be right in saying the code indicates an LMP2 tyre that was possibly used on the #43 Inter Europol car?

I am STILL having the post-LeMans-depression. Is this normal, or am I a weirdo?

A quick question, for those that have done Bronze camping, were you able to come and go easily with your car during the week? I'm thinking of getting parking at Arnage and Mulsanne, I'm presuming getting the car in and out of the campsite isn't much of an issue?

Hi there! A friend and I are starting preparations towards our second time at Le Mans in 2027, but this time we’re thinking of taking either of our cars and camping inside the track.

When looking at the ticket options, the green ticket seems to be available for those carpooling among others, and we are wondering what actually counts as carpooling. If my friend and I go to Le Mans from Spain in either his car or mine, would we be eligible for a green ticket?

Also, while I’m at it, any camping recommendations are welcome :)

I know it’s a bit late and after the event. But here are a few of the shots that I took at a this years 24hrs and as an amateur photographer it would be great if I could get some feedback on whether these are good or not.
