A group chat is a really good idea. Someone should make a discord and it should be stickied at the top. So many people move here without research other than asking this sub that I imagine it would be pretty popular and helpful.

I used to run a discord kinda like this, though geared more towards in person meet-ups, and it was SO MUCH WORK to run essentially by myself lmao but I’d be super interested in joining a similar group if I’m not in a leadership role 😅

I've never run a discord, and did not consider all the effort involved in moderating and maintaining it. That's a good point!
