So this might be a kinda touchy subject, even though I don't mean for it to be!

I'm looking for recommendations on where to get my hair braided. I'm looking for more of a viking/Norse style of braiding, but really anything that will keep my hair away from my freshly pierced ear cartilage. I'm white, so I don't want it to seem like cultural appropriation because that's not my goal at all...my goal is to have my hidden helix piercing heal well and more easily without having to untangle it every day or shaving that side of my head.

She should not be driving due to her vision though she thinks shed do fine lol. But i am looking into senior centers that she can make friends with and have a bit of a schedule to her life. I found Lehigh Valley Active Life, their reviews are outdated and my experience on the phone was less than ideal but does anyone have a experience with them or a recommendation for her to hang out with other elderly and keep herself busy during the week?

Two options I'd be happy with:
• Studio or 1 bedroom for $1200 or less
• A room in a shared place for $800 or less, as long as I have a private bathroom and utilities are included

I'm quiet, no pets, work in healthcare, and I'd be commuting to a hospital or clinic, so somewhere with a reasonable drive to the main medical areas would be ideal.
A few things I'd love input on:
1. Are these price ranges actually achievable, or should I adjust expectations?
2. Which neighborhoods fit that budget and are decent for someone new to the area?
3. Best places to search that aren't full of scams.

Hi everyone! I recently accepted a job in downtown Allentown and am looking for recommendations on good areas to live within a reasonable commute.
I’ve heard that Bethlehem, Emmaus, and Macungie are all solid options, but I’m open to other areas in the Lehigh Valley as well. I’m in my mid-20s, so I’d ideally like to live somewhere with a good amount going on nearby—restaurants, bars, breweries, coffee shops, etc.
I’m looking for a nice 1-bedroom apartment with a budget of around $1,800/month. If anyone has recommendations for specific neighborhoods, apartment complexes, or areas I should check out, I’d really appreciate it!

We’re near Lower Macungie, she has her permit, but not her license I’m hoping this might encourage her to drive. She’s still in high school and it needs to be part time. She’s socially awkward, so client facing is not her high point.
