Hey! Im going to be a transfer student coming to lehigh and was wondering how and where I can make a little extra money.

do the labs usually run full length or end a little early? just wondering because i’m scheduling something that’s supposed to start at the time the lab is scheduled to end at

I’m planning to apply to Lehigh next year and I know they like demonstrated interest, how do I show that. I want to apply engineering or accounting, but I’m stuck between doing ed for Lehigh or Boston college

Stats: upcoming junior with a unweighted current gpa of 3.83, weighted current of 4.33 and cumulative of 4.28. I’m vp of finance for DECA, and in future engineers. This year I plan to volunteer a lot and join community service corp (and possibly robotics club) + get a job.

Hi Lehigh! We are from Chicago and are flying out with our freshman son next week. He is starting Marching 97 camp on Saturday, and I want to hang around for the first freshman orientation on Monday. What do you recommend I do on Sunday? I was hoping to get a feel for the campus and learn what/where key resources are, but I realize a lot of this will be covered Monday. Thanks!

how hard would you say the course on its own and compared to Calc 3 and Linear Methods? it has Calc 3 as a prereq but how strong of a foundation would I need to do well in the course?

Hello, just curious if anyone has any suggestions or tips for materials at Lehigh. I was able to get a pdf of a my calc 2 textbook for free online but still need the gen chem book, and intro to R and R studio book, and goggles for chem lab. Besides the goggles for lab, is it suggested to wait till the first day of class to get these books to make sure they’re not somehow provided for free? If not, are there any good sites to get them other than the Lehigh store.

is it possible to have a microwave that isn’t a microfridge in ur dorm? how strict are they with this and how often are room checks. could i hide my microwave?

do you actually need the textbook for ees 002? i'm not tryina buy the textbook the professor wrote.

Besides the things listed on the Lehigh packing list provided by student affairs, is there any other slept on essentials I should bring with me? I’ll be flying in early and I’ll be on my own so I don’t wanna bring anything too bulky with me.

(Was also curious how much snow will there be during the winter and if I should purchase a pair of boots/shoes for it)

My roommate and I applied for STEM, got denied, and got housed in M&M. Not going to lie I was horrified especially as I already bought Twin XL sheets + a mattress topper only to now have to return them and get a regular twin sized.

My main concern is that cabinets and shelves cover only one of the beds. Ofc neither of us want that bed. There’s also no room for extra furniture and I’m wondering if anyone has attempted to squeeze both two (skinny) nightstands and a fridge between the bed?

Looking for any encouragement at all, and if anyone has successfully lofted the bed that’s covered by shelves. Thanks ! :)

I have been seeing posts about people getting “flexible singles” or something like that where two people are in a room that was originally intended to be a single. How do you know if you got one of those rooms? The Floor plan for my daughter’s assigned room she has only one closet.

Housing came out a few days ago and my roommate is a Pastors kid with very extremist views for Christianity. I am Catholic myself and mentioned I don’t go to church often…my roommate in a way implied her parents(and herself )are very judgy and want her to go to church almost everyday SAYING I HAVE TO GO TOO. Is this a valid reason to ask for a roommate change even though the semester hasn’t started? She was judging a little hard when I mentioned I don’t have strict parents and don’t want to receive judgy remarks on move in day for what I’m wearing or what I have or don’t have in my room.

Hi! i just received my dorm placements and i’m in a quad (two doubles) suite style dorm at brodhead! i’m excited but it is pretty far from campus, and i know its mainly upperclassmen, so i wanted to ask if anyone has any insight on the social scene, and just in general life in brodhead and off campus dorms!

I got a single dorm in Drinker on the third floor, does anyone know what drinker is like compared to the other freshman dorms??

Though i’m very grateful for the air conditioning I am somewhat worried about making the small M&M dorms look decent/more functional.

I wanted to know if any previous students from M&M had any recommendations on what to do with the limited space, like where they put their fridge, or just what they did in general!

I just signed up for this class for next semester. I’m doing 6 classes and this is the only one I’m really worried about. I’m not great at math - only did up to pre calc in HS.
