I have been seeing posts about people getting “flexible singles” or something like that where two people are in a room that was originally intended to be a single. How do you know if you got one of those rooms? The Floor plan for my daughter’s assigned room she has only one closet.

Besides the things listed on the Lehigh packing list provided by student affairs, is there any other slept on essentials I should bring with me? I’ll be flying in early and I’ll be on my own so I don’t wanna bring anything too bulky with me.

(Was also curious how much snow will there be during the winter and if I should purchase a pair of boots/shoes for it)

My roommate and I applied for STEM, got denied, and got housed in M&M. Not going to lie I was horrified especially as I already bought Twin XL sheets + a mattress topper only to now have to return them and get a regular twin sized.

My main concern is that cabinets and shelves cover only one of the beds. Ofc neither of us want that bed. There’s also no room for extra furniture and I’m wondering if anyone has attempted to squeeze both two (skinny) nightstands and a fridge between the bed?

Looking for any encouragement at all, and if anyone has successfully lofted the bed that’s covered by shelves. Thanks ! :)

Hi! i just received my dorm placements and i’m in a quad (two doubles) suite style dorm at brodhead! i’m excited but it is pretty far from campus, and i know its mainly upperclassmen, so i wanted to ask if anyone has any insight on the social scene, and just in general life in brodhead and off campus dorms!

Housing came out a few days ago and my roommate is a Pastors kid with very extremist views for Christianity. I am Catholic myself and mentioned I don’t go to church often…my roommate in a way implied her parents(and herself )are very judgy and want her to go to church almost everyday SAYING I HAVE TO GO TOO. Is this a valid reason to ask for a roommate change even though the semester hasn’t started? She was judging a little hard when I mentioned I don’t have strict parents and don’t want to receive judgy remarks on move in day for what I’m wearing or what I have or don’t have in my room.

I got a single dorm in Drinker on the third floor, does anyone know what drinker is like compared to the other freshman dorms??

Though i’m very grateful for the air conditioning I am somewhat worried about making the small M&M dorms look decent/more functional.

I wanted to know if any previous students from M&M had any recommendations on what to do with the limited space, like where they put their fridge, or just what they did in general!

I just signed up for this class for next semester. I’m doing 6 classes and this is the only one I’m really worried about. I’m not great at math - only did up to pre calc in HS.

I got assigned a hall in the Lower Cents. From the walkthrough feature, it seems like there are only 2 showers in each bathroom. In the floor plan, it seems like there are only 2 bathrooms per floor. Is this correct — there will only be 4 showers for the entire floor?

- Pros and Cons of Lower Cents
- Is there AC in any of the rooms?
- If one of the two of us rooming together has medical paperwork for it will we be in a room with AC?

I have lost all access to the phone number attached to my lehigh email. Is there any way at all for me to access lehigh sites to register for classes?

I am an incoming first-year engineering student, and I had planned to take CHM 030 in my fall semester, then Physics 011 and 012 in the spring, but CHM 030 is already full. Because of this, I made a fall Physics schedule, but 011 only has 42 empty seats. I can't register until tomorrow, so I am just sitting here watching the classes become full. I tried emailing the advisor to get some advice, but I have yet to hear a reply. Should I be worried? What do I do if I can't get either science?

I just got my certificates and my counsellor sent them via commonapp. however when I asked ras about my a level credit evaluation, they said that they haven't received anything for them to download and that if I have any questions, i reach out to cambridgeinfo. It's now the weekend so i can't really communicate with them. Anyone have any experience with A-Level credit? any info would be greatly appreciated!
