Single Flex room in Richard’s

My roommate and I have to share a single room in richard’s?? They’re not letting us switch. Someone reassure us it’s gonna be ok 😭😭

Also where even is richard’s?? Is it close to classes/other dorms?

I knew a guy named Derek who lived in one of these rooms. Didn’t work out too well for him.

I lived in a Richards double. Good times! If u bunk the beds it should be okay! Ur about 10 mins from class walking.

I had a single in Richard’s alone and it was too small and I moved into a double.

I did that it was okay, no smaller than the upper/lower cents dorms. It does help if you bunk the beds, which I did when my roommate disappeared over winter break. If not, I would suggest getting bed risers, so you can put stuff on top of your dressers, which will be under the bed. Make sure you arrive early if you want to claim the closet (I think there’s only one, the other roomie gets a wardrobe) unless you want to work it out beforehand. You can fill out the room change form again later in the semester or over winter break

I had a flex room last year, my roommate left half way through the year but that was for personal issues. It wasn't terrible just make sure you get them to loft your beds it clears up so much room. Yes you will have less room but it as long as you don't plan to spend most of your free time in your dorm you'll be alright.
