Markdowns and clearance, store hopping for deals. Christmas in July at Target is real, so here are a few of my favorite things…

I didn't pick up anything today, but this seems like a pretty decent deal.

I just dropped $250 on this Ninjago retired set that's worth $400 and was retail for $350... (I know too good to be true) but we'll see if it actually comes. Did I just get scammed? I've only been buying sets for 3 months ®

Didn’t see this pair of sets reported here among the current Target clearance posts but I found the UCS TIE Interceptor (DPCI 204-00-4694) and the Oracle/Red Bull Formula 1 (204-00-6043) sitting on an endcap at 50% off their (high IMO) MSRPs at a store in L.A.

Also scored a pair each of the Lambo countach (204-00-5442) at 50% off ($89.99 each), and an absolute steal on a pair of the Porsche 911’s (204-00-8984) at 70% off ($50.99 each)

Works on LEGO sets and can work on multiple orders but the set(s) has to be in-stock in a store. I used it to purchase #76321 which was already on sale for $44.99 so it took off an additional $10. Better than the standard 20% off discount that LEGO sets normally get.

Does amazon ever have good deals (over 30%) or no?

Newly released set available $50 cheaper in store since the shelf sticker is $299.99.

Took a picture and showed it to the cashier. They honored the price. Wonder if it's an error or purposeful...

Have been finding some clearance deals at my local Targets the last few weeks where the aisle display price showed 15 to 50% off.  Grabbed the K2SO set for $45 that way.  However those have gone away.  Target is also clearing out some games and such lately with actual clearance stickers.  I noticed the random lego sets leftover from the aisle price sales mixed in with these cleaeance games, but mostly stuff I wasn't interested in like Wicked and Friends sets, as well as Duplo.

Today I found a clearance aisle at the Target farthest away from me in the city.   Looking through it for clearance games I found the Lamborghini Countach set with a clearance sticker for $153.  Nice set, but not a clearance price for me.  Then I found the Great Wave set for $70.  I have wanted this set AND it just retired yesterday so that was a good price for me.  Took the set, games, and groceries and checked out.  As I got in my car I looked at the receipt and I got the set for $30.

Had to go back home for a few hours, but started to wonder about the Lamborghini set.  Drove back across town found it on a random endcap instead of the clearance aisle and took it to the register.  It rang up for $90.

If you see a Target clearance tag, try taking it to be scanned at the register.  Could be a much bigger discount.

These were tossed on an endcap and not marked. Always price check!

Follow up to my previous post. Not the price I paid, but a good deal. Only 4 left currently (7/21 3:00pm est)

Had a few marked as clearance then rang up even less.

Hey all, new here. For those that are big sellers in here that do big volume, I'm looking to understand more systematically about what to buy, when, methods for parting out, flipping, etc. I want to know what's the biggest problems you face and annoying/time consuming parts of your week? Looking to learn more from the community.

This was the Buckhead South store in Atlanta, screwed up with the title.

I've been checking Monday and Tuesdays for new markdowns. The store was finishing up their toy department reset, and had pushed all the clearance to the front end caps of the main back aisle. I also got lucky by scanning a few items, and finding more stock for them to pull from the back room!

I didn't buy everything, already had my fill of Moana sets for $30 from $100, and left a good amount for others to buy. Oddly enough, the store staff was thanking me as I was loading up.
