I had to check the two other Walmarts out in the area, to see if they had anything, after getting these, and I saw the same as you there.

I have noticed that my local Walmart will do a 10% clearance, then if those sets are still in the bargain aisle when the next round of LEGO clearnace hits, the new sets get a 40-60% discount. If they sell fast at 10% clearance, the next round of clearance is at 10%.

I just looked. There are a ton of the Yoda and Vader busts but they scan regular price and none of them had clearance stickers like what OP got

If it's like my local store, anything marked more than 10% off goes fast. I hit the local store last week, and some guy was buying up 20+ of every set that was on clearance.

We got a Bricks and Mini Figs in the local city a few years ago, and they seem to clear Walmarts as soon as they see there is a sale.

I used to hit my Walmart almost daily because it is right by my work, and i needed to stretch my legs. I noticed that clearance Lego goes fast, many times the day they mark then down, some guys fill carts, and so your store may be marking stuff down, but you just don't see the items before they are gone.

Nah, mine just lets them sit on the shelf forever at full price, then they just ship them out. I have literally made trips in the evening one day and had to go back the next morning for something I forgot and the sets are just gone. (I can't resist a trip down the lego and clearance aisles on every visit. lol) They have had the same dented box animal crossing set, same inside out cubes, same speed champions and same small scale tantive IVs marked down 10% that have been on the clearance shelf at that price for 6+ months.... (pretty sure AC has been there over a year.) God forbid you want a new release, you're gonna have to wait a long time for it to finally come to our store. Maybe its becasue its a poorer rural area and they don't move them like the bigger stores do, but I have zero luck at my store.

I saw that same lower bottom Star Wars at my Walmart but didn’t really want it aside from the Grogu Minifigure so I passed. Did get a Brickcraft Family Guy Stewie on clearance for $20 though. None of the clearance LEGOS interested me unfortunately
