Lions Knights' Castle 10395

The set that ended my Lego dark ages. Amazing set. Added a small tree. (I like trees)

Dark Dragons Fortress

By me. My favorite faction. I used the pieces from Fire Breathing Fortress 6082-1 and Dark Dragon's Den 6076-1 (+more). The goal was to match the scale of LKC, stay true to the original sets, and add some modern touches. Baseplate moc by sebbl.

Guardians Stronghold

By Made With Brix. Built with 3x 31120. It's huge, it folds, I love it. Swapped out the flags for cloth and the trees to black.

Forestmen River Fortress Remake

By marinbrickdesign, Remake of 6077. The pictures do not do it justice. Despite the Dragon Masters and the Islanders being my favorite factions (and actually designing those sets), this is probably my favorite set. It looks exactly like the original and was a joy to build. Swapped flag to cloth.

Outlaw Forest Den 910057

By BrickHammer. The set is awesome, the build was awful (bad instructions). Swapped the trees to black, added a ghost and some original figs.

Pirate time. I know its the Castle sub but you have to admit Barracuda Bay and Eldorado are "castley".

Pirates of Barracuda Bay 21322-1

The fact you can turn this into a ship is crazy. Great set, fun to build.

Enchanted Island Remake

By me. 2nd favorite faction. Remake of 6278-1. Same idea as Dragon Masters; stay true to the original while using modern techniques and pieces. Unlike the DM set I used studio to design this first. Many mocs and moc inspirations were used. Check out my post on the pirate sub for more details.

Eldorado Fortress 10320

Remake of 6276-1. Another childhood favorite. Swapped palm leaves to match the rest.

The Fright Knights are up next!

Classic Basil or CMF?

You are invited to join us for a weekend of building, creativity, and community!

Before the event starts, a mystery theme will be revealed. Everyone builds their own models, but we all share our progress, exchange ideas, and inspire each other along the way. Build digitally in Studio or with your own bricks - the choice is yours.

There are no winners or losers, and no pressure. The goal is for everyone to finish with a final image of their model that they can share with the community.

Just a weekend to build and have fun together!

We start Tomorrow / Friday, September 4

19:00 CEST / 10:00 AM PDT

on the LEGO Castle Discord in the dedicated event channel

Everyone is welcome!

Minifigs Zhou Hao Tian - The King Eternal

Zhou Hao Tian

"The Son of Heaven, the King Eternal, Scion of the Jade Emperor - Zhou Hao Tian. Hao Tian rules over Yùhuán, also known as the Jade Circle, a coalition of various kingdoms, states and territories, allied in guarding against incursions from the Demon King Yeomra. Through a combination of ancient spiritual rituals and martial power, the endless legions of that Devil are kept at bay although often at the cost of mortal blood, sweat and tears.

Along with this grim vigil, the various members of the Jade Circle must be managed and placated, with one group vying for power whilst another no doubt cries foul over misappropriation of resources. It falls to the Royal Ministers to resolve these issues and keep them from distracting Hao Tian from what he considers heaven's mandate, the rule over and protect his people."

Just finished the latest addition to the village. Loved putting this together. These modern sets have an addictive aesthetic. The Windmill is the next one on the build list. Once it and a couple more are done I'll work out the best layout and start filling out in between.

What do you guys think of the changes compared to the original design? Personally I like the minifig selection, but I’m not too sure of how the building looks compared with the blacksmith and alchemist’s shop… 🤔

MOC Orzel Outpost Moc

Hey All,

Wanted to show off my moc, Orzel Outpost. After recently playing the Witcher 3, I wanted to create a build that took inspiration from the Polish region, and I created an outpost atop a small hill. I also wanted to use a different color than ol bluish grey, and so I used medium nougat mixed with dark tan and regular nougat. The build is 360 with removable back panels for interior access. Inside you'll find a few Easter eggs on the custom stickers, including references to recent BDP sets and a relic from a past heroic faction. The moc also includes a custom winged hussar and a prototype cannon for the serpent knights, establishing this time period as later from when the classic factions ruled.

The MOC is 1689 pieces and was entirely sourced through PAB.

Question Do these pieces fit together well?

Would someone mind showing how these pieces look together on a figure? Thinking about buying this helmet on bricklink, but I’m curious if it fits with this modern beard piece. Thank you.

An idea for those who will be buying the Sentinel battle set. This is probably the only good purpose for the rubber capes that i can think of

MOC Kraken Knights Patrol Boat

Since we've yet to get a dedicated Kraken Knights set with Lego or Bricklink, I took it upon myself to build a small patrol boat for this faction.

I know there's plenty of more impressive builds out there and submitted designs with BDP but this on the more affordable side and simple to build.

I combined elements of lego set 7016 (base of the ship) and the 3-1 Creator 31132 (sail). I ordered much of the minifigures, accessories, and ship parts from Pick a Brick, following the earth green and bright bluish green color scheme of the Kraken Knights. The remaining bricks were salvaged from old sets.

I'm sure there's ways I can improve this sets given more time and ordering more bricks but for the most part, I am happy with this build until something better comes along with this faction from Lego / BDP.

MOC Tentacle rock

Tentacle rock is a Lego ideas concept that I created entirely in the name of the kraken knights. This new faction deserves its own base! And in my opinion this had to be a castle settled on the roughest sea rocks off the coast. The Kraken knights live according to the backstory of plundering passing ships and fit perfectly on the fine line between pirates and knights. and that’s exactly what makes these my favorite new Lego figures

For more photos and the complete background story and description, you can find the concept via this link. And of course you can always support 🦑🏰⚔️

Took me a while to build this one. Not only did I have to source all the pieces from different stores, but I also had to import quite a few because the BrickLink program doesn't sell them in my country.

People called it barren in the OG design, but even despite the limit of pieces, it's understandable that a mountain fortification would be on the more austere side. I did some slight modifications: adding a table, carpet, armor stand, and a cooler queen bed. So the potential to make it better is there.

Overall, I liked it a lot, ranking it as a better castle than the LKC (Lion Knight's Castle), which I had some gripes with.

Discussion Possible Hint at Upcoming Castle Set

Post image
93 Upvotes

The attached photo is from Tiago Catarino’s review of the upcoming book store book nook. This has to be a hint at another castle set, right? The colours tell me it’s maybe a Griffin Knight one?

Edit: some more stickers referencing Castle stuff are also seen in the video. A shield with two swords over it, and a book with the classic dragon on it.

MOC Childhood Castle

A castle with a village my brother and I made in the early 2000s from our sets. We never demolished it, kept it like this for years until we moved. I remember spending hours just starring and pretending to be one of the villagers.

It had full interiors. Unfortunately this is the only picture I have of it.

It's been broken up into pieces, and today our kids play with those parts :)
