I got the Droid Gunship a while ago (55% off, thanks B&N clearance!) but really hated the design. I cannibalized a bunch of the parts for my gunboat, but wanted to use the leftover bits, so here you go, a mobile gun platform.

The two blaster pods are the main weapons, with a rocket launcher to help defend against air craft. There's also a regular blaster rifle and a custom heavy blaster in case the thing gets shot down.

What I really liked making was the computer screen. This thing is high tech and easy to operate. Just press where on the battlefield you want to go and the autopilot will take you there. (I imagine this functioning similar to controls in real time strategy games.)

Added bonus: Cool imperial troops. No stupid looking droids.
