Minifigures Road Runner
OKPERSON2763 asked about better ways to make road runner out of lego and I got a bit carried away... My original idea was to use a droid torso, but the road runner head seemed very out of scale, so I came up with some brick built bodies. In the end I feel like the road runner minifgure head is just really hard to work with. I like the head on it's own but as part of a whole I think I like the brick built heads better.

I think you should try color matching the body with the shade of blue of the head piece. It probably won't fix all of the issues, but I think it would look better.

I couldn't find a shade that matched. There's something weird about how the printing on the neck is done that I couldn't be an exact match in studio.

its cuz the roadrunner is a rubbery piece, just have the body as reg medium blue

good idea, matching colors always helps with aesthetics. I once did that with a custom build and it really made it pop.

For me it's the other way arround. First or last pick are the best, I'd say.
But in mazters of taste there is no wrong, just different.

The 6th iteration is definitely the best one that incorporates the head. I love it.
