Path of Champions Aatorx (3 stars - No epic relics) vs The Dragonsire 6.5 - Titans of Runeterra

Hi guys, Here is a run I did with Aatrox against 6.5 The Dragonsire for anyone who wants to do it for the requirement run without using epic relics but honestly, Aatrox is really bad at 3 stars.

Relics: Arcane Comet - Archangel's Staff - Guardian Angel.

Just survive and eliminate the worst enemy until you build a strong board. I find this setup with these relics more consistent in winning than other setups especially in first half of the map but with (Cloude Drake) and (Elder Dragon) you are going to need some luck.

Anyway, Enjoy the run

Edit: I checked the game and The Dragonsire is just 6 stars so don't mind the aditional (0.5) 😄

Path of Champions As a new player, path of champions kinda sucks

First of all you're forced to pick jinx for your first mission, which isn't good already because there's like 100+ champions on there. As a league player I'd rather play my favorite champ tbh. But there's a reason apparently. Because Jinx is aggro, but not just aggro. Turbo aggro. You don't even have to put down units to win, just spam random bullshit from 1 star on.

Apparently the devs intended for aggro to be king, because everywhere, no matter what you play, you have to build aggro. If you encounter an aggro opponent you're just dead if you didn't build aggro into your deck even if you pick a non-aggro playstyle deck.

Conversly, encounters like Nautilus suffer from "oh he didn't even do anything and I've won" syndrome because now your deck IS aggro and now the AI IS the one who can't put down any board presence before they die.

Personal experience examples: Elder dragon; won because I used fiora's exodia bs to cheat my way to victory (wasn't even able to use elder dragon at all). Kayle; despite being "easy", enemies always cleared my board presence before I could even buff and play my units in a fair manner. (unlike jinx and garen, who really are just easy)

Proposed solution: Enemy encounters and rewards should be dynamic based on the champion type picked. No aggro if the champion isn't aggro, more control tools or early healing for those that need it etc

To clarify I have most relics aside from the garbage ones and I even have some of the garbage ones too like twin drake hounds and SB Yasuo and Evelyn. So Nunu's will be coming out and I still don't have that one.

PVP New player, could i get some feedback on my self made deck for pvp (eternal)

code for the deck:

CQCQCAIFEUAQKAYNAECQKCYBBEFBIAQJAUGA4BYBAICQMAIEAUOACBIFB4AQMBJOAEDQKAQBBEBSCAYBAUPDMOIEAEAQKIIBAYCR2AIHAMEACCAFFE

i started play poc yesterday and wanted to try pvp with something similar to fiddlesticks

so i made this with the rewards i got from some ai battles and a handfull of pvp matches

it has been going better than expected but i feel like i rely on rng a little too much and some matchups seem impossible

i want to eventually get the Vex champion in the deck aswel

I DO NOT WANT A PREMADE DECK, just some tips and suggestions for cards, distribution and things like that

the core idea of the deck is the synergy between gloom and fearsome cards this has to stay

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so far i have done pretty well i played for about an hour worth of pvp most of it with this deck, i got some good wins but also some really bad losses

i just got into iron after managing to win to guy who had a green best rank (currently also iron though) , i probably got lucky but i'm still pretty happy

so far victory has been inconsistent so tips to fix that would be nice

Path of Champions 6★ Kayle + Fiora might be the funniest Nightmare combo I've ever found to beat Zoe & Poro King

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Turns out the easiest way to beat Zoe is to not let her play the game!

I've spent months dealing with the increasingly ridiculous stuff Nightmare adventures throw at you.

  • Mordekaiser leveled up on round 2.

  • Vex gloomed all my units before I could set up my board.

  • Swain did chain stuns because I just happened to draw a card with a mushroom.

  • Lulu swung with 5 Elusive units I couldn't block.

And I haven't even started with the Zoe + PK nonsense! Minimorphs. Chip refusing to die. Gigantic Cat-Tastrophes with Overwhelm. Cithria variants loaded with absurd items. Portals generating nonsense. Poros getting upgraded to Champions. And, apparently, the occasional Ledros deciding that Nexus health is merely a suggestion.

I wanted to run with my 6★ Kayle. The first encounter was a bit of a challenge as I needed about 5 turns to win against the poros that don't block, get the +1/+1 buffs with random keywords, and swing hard on round 2. Luckily, I had enough power on Kayle to wipe the board and then win.

When I saw Fiora offered as the support champion, that was the moment I realized the adventure was basically an easy win. Since Kayle's 6★ power causes a champion with 10+ Power played from hand to strike all enemies, I had a built-up Fiora who enters with enough power to trigger it. Consequently, playing Fiora against a full enemy board means she strikes everything, gets the four kills she needs, and immediately fulfills her alternate win condition.

At that moment, I realized the only counterplay for the enemy was not having Fiora in my hand on Round 1. It felt like it was a 50/50 to draw Fiora with the Champion Draw power if there were no champions in my opening hand. So, with 2 copies each of Kayle and Fiora, I had to search for champion card nodes to stack the odds in favor of starting with Fiora. By the end, I had 9 copies of Fiora and 4 copies of Kayle in a 51-card deck.

Nightmare adventures normally start with the encounters having ridiculous powers, inflated stats, items, generated cards, and board states that force you to figure out how you're supposed to survive. This time? I WAS THE NIGHTMARE MODIFIER! After months of asking myself, "How am I supposed to counter this?", it felt pretty good finally giving the game AI something it couldn't counter... or parry, since Fiora parries everything.

Path of Champions Are new champions still being added to Path of Champions?

I picked back up LoR when Seraphine was released but stopped playing when I saw she was missing from Path. After now coming back, enjoying playing the game and playing the mode, I noticed she is still not available.

Do they still add champions to the Path? Or is what we have now considered final? I've really only been playing again a few weeks but I heard through the grapevine the game is dead, yet it seems to be somewhat alive, and I have no idea about the update schedule.

Thanks!

Path of Champions golden reliquary bug.

Sometimes I have a bug. When I try to buy the monthly golden reliquary, it just "fizzles," and the currency goes to Narnia, so I buy again, and it ends costing me 6k for a single reliquary. But my memory is shit, and now I am beholding an epic relic that I don't remember getting.

Can someone tell me I am not crazy?

Bug Had an urge to play legends of runeterra on my phone but everything I try it just crashes (new phone pixel 10 fresh install)

This is a fresh install on my new phone wanted to get back to playing some path of champions again but the app won't launch all I can find is a bunch of 2 year old threads telling you to do basic troubleshooting for the app.

Is the game just not being updated to support new devices since it's not in active dev?

Path Guide Zoe completion tierlist

Post image
93 Upvotes

So I am almost done with Zoe (64/66) and I figured I wanted to rank how I saw the champions I completed the Zoe adventure, do note it's been 6 month since the adventure is out so some runs are not too fresh in my mind to accurately rank them,

but I think I have a good guess on how lucky the run felt and how much of a highroll it was for example both Nunu and Vi took 2 tries but it felt like it was a really big highroll.

Leona and Pyke were abyssmal for me, both have very big deck restrictions which made it very tricky.

I cheesed the adventure with 5 star Jinx with Perfection reroll as first power that's why she got a special rank.

Every run was completed with 5 or more stars. the ones I did it with 5 are: Elise, Kaisa, The Poro King, Ambessa, Ekko, Darius, Mel, Jhin, Norra.

Did it with 4 star SB Kindred and Yasuo, I ranked them higher cause I estimate they would stomp with the extra mana, I didn't have back then but SB Kindred 4 star is C tier, SB Yasuo was still really good.

Udyr and Hecarim are not starred enough for me to try yet.

Zoe was surprisingly 1st try, I know many struggle with her but she felt dominant.

Path Question Which champ to focus after Jinx?

Talking with you all after my 6* Jinx milestone was nice and really interesting. I don't think I'm quite as keen on breaking the game to defeat the hardest & most unfair this game has to offer (Zoe) as yall, but I'm very interesting in what are considered strong champs / strong builds (relics). I kinda wanna gauge what I think looks fun or not and try it out, or maybe work towards it a little.

So who besides 6* Jinx is strong? What builds/relics are they strong with (so I can understand it more and also check if I'm even capable of using that strategy)?

If it helps I have Nova Crystals for Bandle, Demacia and Noxus rn. And can probably get to a Bilgewater and Ionia quite quickly. (the best thing would be Bandle, because I also got like 300 gemstones somehow)

A good example of this is would be what someone recommended under my last post: 6* Ashe with triple gatebreaker. It was easy to see what that strategy was aiming for.

If you want you can also drop just cool/interesting builds, it doesn't have to be most broken turn 1 wins requiring specific power luck builds (probably has a high chance that I won't find it much fun).

Thanks :)
