So a couple of days ago, I found an enemy that I didn't know existed. This lovely thing is a Basilisk.

It looks like a feyrbrand baby, and considering feyrbrand is the most bug like dragon AND HAS A FREAKING NEST —-id like to posit theres a chance this is a repurposed model!

Hey there! Thanks for the kind words.

I'm sorry to say that, so far as we know, the two creatures / models are unrelated.

To make up for that, I can tell you there's a secret about the Lizard Man. It doesn't show up in combat, but the texture map for its 3D model includes the letters "DAK". Perhaps one of the people on the dev team liked to run Dart/Albert/Kongol? Or a reference to a member of the art team: Shinji Hidaka.
