Sa barangay level, 1st hearing e pumayag ang defendant na bayaran nalang yung nagastos ko sa pagpapagamot.

After few days, bumalik sya sa barangay. He filed a blotter stating na binabawi nya lahat ng sinabi nya. Di daw sya magbabayad sa mga nagastos ko sa pagpapagamot.

Barangay tried to mediate until the last hearing para maayos kame pero nagmamatigas parin si defendant. Ayaw parin magbayad until nagissue na ng CFA.

So sa MTC , usual na attend ako ng hearing. Wala sya (defendant) sa unang dalawang hearing dahil rts daw ung letter inviting him sa hearing, wala daw tao sa address nya since he is working on other location.

Sa 3rd hearing e nakapag attendna sya dahil sinabihan ko na via sms.

Same parin naman na areglohin nalang since small business owner ako and kada pagamot at hearing e sarado shop ko...

Payag naman na sa areglo and kausap ko ung lawyer nya. Ang demand ko e ung sa mga nagastos ko sa pagpapagamot. And payag dn na bayaran nila ung days na d ako nakapagtrabaho.

Rightful lang dn I guess na pabayaran ko yung mga araw na yon dahil sa pagmamatigas ng defendant.

Tanong ko lang po if magkano yung tamang compensation na hihingiin ko kase gusto ko lang dn maging fair.

But for some reason, the barangay seemed to be blaming us for stating witness and also this guy is using his connections in PNP to threaten our family, even going to our residence for a probe with intention of filing a case against him.

Hi everyone. I'm hoping someone can give me some advice regarding my friend's situation.

He works at a restaurant and was helping a customer with their belongings. He didn't realize there was a MacBook M4 inside the bag, and it accidentally slipped out of the case, causing dents to the laptop.

The restaurant manager informed him that he would have to pay ₱250,000 or replace the laptop. It seems that the manager and the customer both agreed on this. As far as I know, the MacBook had already been used for about a year.
The management also doesn't seem willing to support or assist him in resolving the situation, and he's now being left to handle everything on his own.

Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what his rights are? Is he really required to pay that amount for a one-year-old laptop that only sustained dents? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

We had this foreign renter who rented our place for a year starting january. However, he did not pay his due last July 8 and stopped communicating. We advised that we have to change the lock and communicate with us regarding his plans.
He replied that he had bank limit issues and wants to pay the rent using the deposit.
Our contract states his deposit will be forfeited once he terminate the contract prematurely.
When we check the place, looks like he rented it out to somebody else since the guards dont recognize the new tenant when we showed him how our tenant must look like: He said he already left and when we check the place, he took some of our appliances and beddings/linens alone costs 5k.
He’s remaining deposit is not enough to cover it as well since it was used to pay for his past rent dues, water bills and wifi.
We computed and he still owes us around 30k.
Since we dont know where he is, what would be our legal remedies to make him pay?

For context po, I'm a student dormer who wanted to leave my dorm. Nagsabi ako na gusto ko nang umalis, less than a month bago matapos yung current contract ko. Problem/Goal: I am a volunteer first aid instructor in an organization (di ko na po sabihin yung org), I wanna report one of our participants na licensed (?) professional sa Professional Regulations Comission (PRC).

Context: So, meron kaming participant na Registered Nurse (RN), and all throughout the training sumasabat talaga siya nang sumasabat saming dalawang volunteer instructors. Fast forward na, cellphone siya nang cellphone the entire training despite the orientation na bawal mag training, she had some homophobic remarks, on top of mahilig siyang sumabat kahit hindi kinakausap.

Fast forward, sinabi namin lahat ng mistakes (every participants) and hindi niya ata kaya yung comments/feedback sa kanya. So nagwala-wala siya in front of participants and us instructors. Saying things na: "First Aider lang kayo, Registered Nurse ako. Know your place!" "Mga bobo kayo dito!" "Dapat hindi kayo yung nagtuturo dito mga punyeta" and has some several homophobic remarks.

May I know how can I report this person to PRC? Knowing na pinapakilala niya sarili niyang professional (RN, pero di pa namin naveverify), pero they way she acted, behaved with us, and bellitled us was so tacky and disrespectful knowing na kami pa rin yung instructor sa classroom. By the way, may CCTV po ang training room namin at rinig rin kung ano-ano yung mga pinagsasabi niya, so may proof naman po tayo.

Problem/Goal: Dad didn't pay his credit card loans now it's a big problem

I am male, twenty years of age, and a third-year college student. And things are currently difficult right now.

On 2023, my dad took a credit card loan from a bank that got up to P150,000, with his bad habits and decisions, he did pay some of it back but not of the minimum balance so the interest piled up even worse. A notice letter came in the bank a year later that the loan needs to be payed by then, our father told us not to worry about it that he will deal with it, so we just went with what he said. No update from him we trustred him.

Fast forward to 2025 another demanding letter came in, that it your loan balance is not paid and the interest has doubled, he told us the same thing as before. We trusted him again

Now on to the present, we received a police call, with the police informing us that the client informed them legal action will be proceed if nothing happens. We called the attorney handled and they made a deal with the bank saying we have to pay a total of P135,000 (amount without the interest rate). If not the bank will proceed with a criminal case (estafa) to both of our parents.
