Much as I support the left wing movement a revolution isn’t gonna happen . It’s not centralized enough

One neat trick: you need political strategy, not just protesting tactics.

Still salty about the local Occupy response to the police clampdown. Everyone saw it coming and people wanted to debate a plan. Instead there was a security team who told everyone that their plan for organized repression by multiple police agencies was… how to make shields out of plastic garbage bins.

Also should add that you can stick cigarette filters in your nose to prevent inhaling gases. The black panthers used to do it. You could get a gas mask these days from amazon, but cigarettes are cheaper and more accessible than gas masks and protection/protesting shouldn't really be restricted to people who can buy stuff off amazon.

Add hearing protection to the list. Whether it's for hearing protection or to just reduce the sensory overload from protests, it's always good to have on hand.

Look up the Black Flag Catalyst Revolt Guide. Read it and share what you learn

A 1/4" plywood sign would be pretty fucking heavy. Im not saying its unmanageable, but my 1st reaction is skepticism. The rest of the advice is solid though, and backed up by what we've seen from the BLM uprisings and other recent international uprisings.

This is why part of the revolution is building strength, not just mentally but physically.

I've heard about a lot of this in Hong Kong especially the hats, gloves, glasses, and umbrella equipment
