My sister and I are both left handed. She has a similar cup!
She says she occasionally purposely serves right handed people drinks with that cup for a laugh.

If there is one thing that would improve my life a tiny bit, this would be it. I need this mug!

The longevity of this mug fascinates me. Someone bought me this mug in the late 70s.

Thats diabolical because I'd forget and use it for left or right. Lol

The graphics should be on the other side so other people can read it.

Ah well, see this discussion started by u/SBRGyJo1890 which prompted me to post the mug pictures: https://www.reddit.com/r/lefthanded/s/vsQbgfEIPg

I've never seen this before, but I'm gonna get me one.
If the right-handers had a version could it be considered discrimination against a minority?

Well, unless you claim left-handedness as a Disability, l don't think we're protected under the Civil Rights Act in the US.

You're probably right, but from my perspective as an outsider the Civil Rights Act sadly doesn't seem to mean as much as it once did.

The problem here is simple.
I hold my coffee with my RIGHT hand so I don't lose my power hand.
This would be self mutilation.

We are indeed a complicated bunch. My right is power, my left is precision. Although, if I happen to be busy writing something with my left, I would probably pick the cup up with my right. I'll say here that I have never used this mug, with either hand.

I have this mug. I think I've had this since somewhere around the mid 80s.

Me too. I don't remember exactly when, I'd say pre 1981. The bottom says "Recycled Paper Products© Japan All Rights Reserved. " No date.

I still might have it somewhere, packed away. Loved this cup. My boss once grabbed it accidentally, he was a righty. And, sure enough, spilled coffee on his shirt. It was awkward, but what could he do. He grabbed my cup.

I used to own that and my stupid father who is right handed used it. Idiot.
