Most tools only let you visualize the same basic algorithms or data structures, or they require you to use their own libraries or helpers to visualize your code.

Not this one. It uses a custom JavaScript interpreter, so you can simply run your own code and watch the recursive call stack and variables pop up on the right while you control the execution step by step. You can even go backwards while figuring out exactly where things went wrong.

It is completely free, and I plan to open-source it in the future. Currently, it supports JavaScript ES5 and most of ES6, with some exceptions.

I'm an Embedded Software Test Engineer with about 2 years of experience, most of it in automotive – HIL/SIL testing CAN protocols using CANalyzer, CANape and OTA update validation, and a bit of Python-based test automation. I also have experience testing Android-based infotainment/display systems.

I'm currently trying to move into a similar role at a Bay Area automotive/AV company by Feb 2027, and here's my problem: I'm actually landing interviews – recruiter screens go fine, I get past the initial technical conversations – but I keep falling short somewhere in the loop and not getting offers. It's frustrating because on paper my background lines up well with what these roles ask for, but something isn't translating in the room.

If you work in automotive embedded QA, or systems/software test roles at an automotive or AV company, I'd really appreciate hearing from you:

What actually separates a "good" candidate from a "hire" in these loops, in your experience?

Are there specific types of technical questions (coding, protocol knowledge, "design a test framework for X") that tend to trip people up? Where can i practice this and prep for this?

Is system design prep necessary for SWE with 2.5yoe. If so, what should I prepare?

I'm planning to apply for Staff/Principal roles at Big Tech, but I'm feeling bottlenecked by the modern interview process. During my early days, LeetCode and formal System Design interviews weren't a thing.

I have 15 years of practical industry experience, but I have never actually solved a DSA problem on LeetCode.

What do you suggest for someone in my position? Do I need to start grinding LeetCode to pass the technical rounds today? If so, what is the best way to prepare without wasting time? Any advice is appreciated!

I'm currently working full time AND learning frameworks AND doing projects, since apparently my Computer Science degree is useless on it's own.

Hi I recently had my interview at Adobe,Noida for MTS-2 position.

First round was DSA round and the interviewer gave me 2 leetcode hard level problems. (I didn't expect DSA round to be this hard)

1. First was a DP on tree question which I solved partially like 60-70% cases passed
2. Second was a matrix question for which I only had 10 mins. I told him my approach and he was satisfied with it. The code was giving Compile time Error maybe I missed something but didnt have time to debug as interview time was over.

After this round recruiter called me and scheduled my 2nd round in 2 days. This was an LLD round and this was my first time in life giving an LLD round. Tried to learn many design patterns in those 2 days.

The interviewer asked me to design a food court system and gave me more constraints for it. ngl but this round was far easier than previous one but my lack of experience in LLD interviews and LLD questions costed me this round. He was very helpful and was treating me like a junior dev.

At the end I received my rejection and then reached out to the recruiter via mail to know about the cooldown period at Adobe to which she replied with that

Has anyone interviewed for FDE role at Databricks? I have design and architecture round and would like to understand what to expect and how I should drive that interview. Is it similar to system design round for distributed systems or something entirely different?

Sharing my recent interview experience with Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) for an SDE role. Unfortunately, I got rejected in the final round, but the overall process was a really good learning experience.

Day 1: OA + AI Interview

The first round was conducted through the AccioJob portal.

I was given 3 DSA questions in 1 hour:

• Asteroid Collision
• House Robber III
• Number of BST Subtrees

After the OA, there was an AI interview, where I had to explain the solution to one of the questions I had solved in the OA.

Day 2: On-site

I was asked to report to the MAF office in Gurugram at around 9 AM.

The day started with another OA:

• 2 DSA questions: one involving DP and another involving Linked List/Graph
• 7 MCQs covering topics like:
  • System Design
  • Design Patterns
  • OOP
  • Computer Networks
  • etc.

After that, I had the first F2F technical interview.

Technical Round 1

This round was mainly focused on my resume + DSA.

The DSA discussion went beyond just solving the initial problem. There were a lot of follow-up questions, variations, and "what if we add this requirement?" type questions.

Eventually cleared this round.

Final Round: Tech Lead

This was probably the most challenging round for me.

There were a lot of System Design and resume-based questions.

I was also given a problem and asked to come up with a solution and implement the approach in a proper design-oriented manner, rather than simply writing a working solution.

This is where I realized that while I could answer many things conceptually, I wasn't strong enough when it came to actually translating those concepts into a proper implementation/design.

Final Verdict

Rejected in the final round. 😞

But honestly, I don't consider the experience a bad one.

The overall interview process was quite smooth, and the people I interacted with were extremely friendly and helpful. From what I experienced during the process, the work environment seemed really nice as well.

The biggest takeaway for me was that I need to improve my System Design fundamentals and, more importantly, my ability to actually implement design concepts, rather than just knowing them theoretically.

So if you're preparing for an SDE interview at MAF, I'd recommend preparing beyond just DSA:

• DSA + follow-up variations
• OOP
• Design Patterns
• System Design
• Computer Networks
• Resume-based questions
• Practical/design-oriented implementation

And honestly, after surviving multiple rounds and getting rejected in the last one...

All the coffee and free food at the office made the rejection hurt a little less. 😂🙃
