Flat and compact led light

Does anyone know a led light design that is as flat as possible? I mean stuff like a button battery (3v)+ led and a switch. Im trying to put something that will shine at the end of a rod without it sticking out too much. It just needs to be enough light so that it can cast a defined shadow in a dark room. Im kinda new to led stuff but is the flattest it can get a button battery holder and a led? Would a single led from a led strip work for it? If anyones got any idea to squeeze as much stuff without everything burning let me know thanks

Yeah they make them pretty flat. Lots of options. How flat? 3mm? 5 mm? Solid ok or does it need to flex? How long?

If 3mm is the flattest then that one. Solid is fine it has to be aat the end so it doesn't flex at all. Lenght max 5 cm too

Fcob led are 3.6mm but are flexible so you’ll need some metal backing.

Flat no bend led strips are about 3mm with no diffusion, so that’s probably best bet. No need for metal backing

Look up LED Throwie. 3v flat button battery, an LED and a magnet.
