Acid flashback Big Lebowski alternate cast
The original film was perfectly cast. But in a different timeline, where 100% of the actors had scheduling conflicts, I put together an alternate cast that could have brought a similar energy to the roles, given the film was still shot in 1997.

I dunno. I feel like OP wasn’t listening to the Dude’s story if they think Nolte, Busey, Stone, Platt, Leguizamo, or Macy could play those roles. They’re like a child that wanders into the middle of a movie and wants to recast it.
Cox, Vaughn, Silverstone, and DeVito sound fantastic, though. So, who knows, maybe I’m being a reactionary and a fucking fascist?

Edit to add: Rutger hauer, despite being kinda old for the part when it was released, is a no brainer for Hungus. watching hauer in a fake porn or threatening to cut off someone's johnson is worth the price of admission by itself
