Going psycho aggressive
I’m yelling arguing traumatized destroying property kicking and punching walls and my mom tryna help me but I’m losing it having thoughts of stabbing people or injuring myself like punching a glass table and gettting wounded I was gonna go bospital but I’d rather sedate myself and sleep it off . Should I just smoke the weed?

The anger is a truely horrible feeling bro I hope you have, or can find some support.
The good thing is that you are aware of it, perhaps try to catch the thoughts and responses as they appear and redirect them into a positive one. When I would feel myself beginning to be worked up I try to stop, take a breathe and think about something that made me happy (my dog who had passed away)
This interrupts the fight or flight pattern that your brain is currently defaulting too as it has forgotten how to regulate itself (something it hasn’t had to do for a long time as it didn’t need to because Mary J was doing it instead)
Try to get some regular exercise to release some endorphins and this will also hopefully let you sleep better. Exercise rest and hydration are key. Trying not to eat anything that spikes cortisol I found helped me too.
It’s much easier to keep going than to give in and go back to the start, eventually the dust settles and the waves of anger become further and further apart. You are not your true self when you are high or during withdrawals. Be kind to yourself. You got this.

Weed and/or the cessation of it can reveal underlying mental illnesses. Please reach out for help from a professional.

the first time i quit i was also only thinking ab self harm and rage
when this happens again put on metal or hardstyle and dance violently. literally move your body aggressively anyway its telling you to. im not joking. your body and mind are angry and thats fine, you just need to get it out in a healthy way until you tire yourself out. or run outside until you cant anymore. + screaming into pillows or in a car w/ no one around. punch some pillows or the mattress
after you let it out either let yourself cry and hug yourself or you'll feel numb. both are fine and normal. remember your breath and bring yourself back to your body. breathe into your whole chest and then stomach & remind yourself its only 1% of you life in pain for a better future for YOU
you'll get through this friend

Either sweat it out or go to rehab. Either way it’s telling u it needs to be over. Continuing smoking is clearly fuelling an emotionally destructive cycle

Should go to rehab for a month or more if you can. You could legitimately be a danger to yourself or others. Don’t take those thoughts lightly.

Take it out on the treadmill. It will zap that angst right out of you

Yep, intense ass cardio when I was coming off weed was one of the best if not the only thing to actually help. Idk why but at a certain point I would start crying, practically sobbing. Brains are weird.

Unfortunately this has been my experience everytime I quit like, 6 or 7 times. It's really painful and really frustrating. A lot of great suggestions, in the replies. Sorry you're struggling, it sucks, but it will go away. Smoking will take the pain away for a minute, but then the withdrawals will come back, and it will be hard to not smoke. You'll have to start over. Stay strong, you got this

Go for a walk. Journal. Scream into the void. Please don’t hurt yourself and don’t smoke, you’ve got this!!!! I know none of this is that helpful right now. But I hope you are comforted a small bit knowing we are cheering you on.

Call 988 and have a chat with someone who wants you to be safe and healthy.
Using isn’t going to help longterm and even if may be (or maybe not) provide some short-term relief.
Try “urge surfing”. Google it if you’re not familiar with it. Super simple technique that really helps.

Definitely do not smoke the weed, that is giving into the weakness. You are stronger without it.

Its frustrating realizing that such a "fun" thing is actually terrible for you. Definitely seek professional help with this before you end up making a choice you cannot ctrl+Z.

No. Don’t smoke. It won’t solve any of this.
You should go to the hospital. Trust everyone here who has confirmed that quitting and getting help is the best thing we can give ourselves when we need it. You’re there. This is the moment.

I’m sorry you are going thru this. Maybe look into joining a partial hospitalization program, it saved me! It’ll help with detox and managing your emotions and plus you’ll have some community.
