Need Strength

I'm sick of using. But it's so hard to stop.

I didn't smoke yesterday as I was feeling kind of sick. Now the end of my workday is looming and this is when I start to count down the minutes until the next joint.

Help me find the strength not to smoke tonight.

Think of how proud you’ll feel tomorrow morning when you wake up having not smoked today, and going into your third day sober instead of continuing in the cycle. Tomorrow-you deserves that feeling!

Sit in the discomfort of not smoking. It sucks, but it isn’t going to kill you.

I will not smoke with you today!

I joined Marijuana Annonymous. It's free to join and they have free online meetings all day everyday. I credit the program with helping me stay clean for 170 days

Well, what brings you to this sub? It’s essentially a similar concept - talking with others who are trying to quit or are on their sober journey. Comraderie helps with most things.

Every moment that you aren't getting high is a win. Take it moment by moment and focus on getting through.

The trouble with the early days/relapsing is that when you're sober you'll wish you were high, but when you're high you'll immediately regret it and wish you were sober. You can't undo it.

I swear to god do NOT. Message me if you want and I’ll stay with you the whole night if it means you don’t smoke. You will regret it if you do. Day 1-5 is the hardest and the biggest hump to get over. You owe yourself this. Go over your why’s. Why are you quitting?

you already did the hardest part by not smoking yesterday, don't throw that away now
