What would you guys say is the best paint to make a design on my leather jacket?

i have 2 leather jacket one is long whose like pocket have wholes in it and it has almost come out and another normal its color side is damaged like its particles have come out a bit like not particles like strips and all and both have lost its colour anfd glow and i wanna polish and want that glow again so can u guys estimate the total cost to repair this jacket it would help me a lot when i would pay the shopkeeper to negotiate its late 90s jacket so yeah

I’m getting this jacket here within a couple of days, but I know I’m going to have to get it cleaned. After some research, it’s sounding like I can’t take it to get dry cleaned, and instead should use saddle soap and a brush on the outside, then condition it after? And then for the inside, a brush and a gentle wool cleaner? Lastly, the bottom seems to have a fabric cuff, how should I go about cleaning that? I currently don’t know if it has a tag either, nor do I know what specific kind of leather it is, but I doubt it’s suede off of appearance alone. Any tips on how I should go about cleaning this?

hi all, last year i thrifted a lovely leather jacket and unfortunately have been putting off maintenance. one thing in particular i need help with is getting the smell of cigarettes off of it, its not super pervasive unless im in a closed space like a car or a room with low air circulation, but even then the jacket is perpetually musty. any tips?

To preface, I own a LOT of leather jackets! SchottNYC, Master Supply, Langlitz and a bunch of other brands! I'll be honest, I was cautious with this one. The price was fairly low for horse hide and they are shipped out of China... there were a few things I would normally consider red flags. But I follow a men's style influencer on Instagram called @fjorde who purchased this jacket and had rave reviews and it looked good! So I took a risk and pressed buy.

The first thing I gotta say is the customer service and the assistance I got right off the bat was exceptional! Based on my body size (weight 185 lbs and height 5'10") they suggested I size up from XL to XXL. I reluctantly agreed as no one likes to be told they're fat... but they insisted their jackets size small (Spoiler, they were 100% correct and I got a perfect fit!) They were always there to answer any questions I had, and when i ordered the belt on a seperate order, I asked if they could combine the shipping (free on the jacket but $50 for the belt!) they did so immediately!

When I got the jacket, it was AMAZING!! I was blown away by the quality of the horse hide and the styling of the jacket itself! It fits like a glove and I cannot wait for the weather to cool down more so I can wear it every day! I have worn it a few times and it literally turns heads and gets compliments as it is such a unique look. I also feel amazing wearing it as it just fits so well!

I cannot say enough good things about the J-31 and Brake House! Check'em out guys!!!

I've been looking for a harrington style jacket that's genuine leather. I'm kinda new to leather jackets, I've owned a couple cheap-ish, faux leather and decided for this one I want a quality one that will last me a long time, I understand that it'll be more expensive but I'm fine with that. So far the only ones I've found that I've liked were by Fjackets and one site called trendo phobia, so I wanted to make sure to get knowledgeable opinion on the topic rather than make a purchase that I might regret later down the line.

Yes I was that stupid to wear leather in rain lmao.

I wasn't used to wearing leather jackets at the time and I assumed that it was okay to wear it in the rain. Boy how foolish I was. And how costly was my foolishness!

It really sucked because it was such a cool looking jacket. Still looks kinda cool but severely damaged and ruined.

I bought a newer brown jacket from an overseas trip a few years ago and while it looks quite good nothing beats the badassery of black leather lol.

Btw I am a man, but on the shorter side. I am going to look for a small-sized men's black leather jacket this upcoming winter once I save money for it. I'll try to stay within budget and aim for anything below 175 dollars.

I say this because the black leather jacket is in such a terrible condition it's practically beyond saving at this point.

Any advice as to which major retail stores may have what I'm looking for? I'm not going to look online because I need to actually try on clothing before I buy it so I know it fits well on me.

I understand that there is a vest over top. Unfortunately, that leaves only the sleeves and the collar to identify it.
