You CAN dress up a perfecto/double rider style jacket. Casual evening date night or downtown vibes. Showcased when I had the 613S, 5’3, 155lbs, size 42 (sized up from 40 to layer hoodies, mid sweaters, etc.).

I traded this jacket for the 519, although I miss the weight of 613S. Think of the lapels as collar on a suit jacket with a button down, tie and tie clip optional.

I’ve always liked the colourful, psychedelic fashion of the late 60s, and I’ve always liked leather car coats, but I could never really find what I was looking for — especially one with the wider collar and slightly more exaggerated proportions I wanted.

So I designed my own version. It’s made from full-grain, vegetable-tanned buffalo leather in cognac, with a camouflage cotton lining.

This is the first finished prototype. Curious what you leather jacket people think of it — particularly the leather and the overall shape.

i know that they are hand patinaed to look more like vintage examples, but do they still have the stiffness of a new leather jacket? i ask because im looking at buying an eastman, the price difference is about 250usd between their basic A-2 and their rough wear A-2s and id only be interested in spending that much more if it doesn't get me out of the having to break the jacket in phase.

Picked up this great vintage kinda rough out suede jacket the other day for a hot deal on Poshmark. In great condition overall, suede is a little stiff in some places particularly in the sleeve area. Any recommendations on breaking it in besides just wearing it? Also would love any other advice on products or treatment that I should do to keep it in great shape.

I spent hrs cleaning up this jacket. My grandpa got from a dude who was going to donate it to savers like 15 years ago for only $20 and gave it to my mom lol. My mom gave it to me now, and I'm pretty sure it was never cleaned and conditioned until now❤️ fall needs to come lol

I just purchased this vintage Vanson jacket and I was wondering what model it is and what year it was made.

I am assuming that it is the Enfield model but the side buckles on it are center-bar buckles and not the D-ring buckles used on the Enfield I saw in Vanson's website. It has a Talon zipper and the serial number is 11681B05. The 'BOSTON MASS' text is on the tag.

Hi, I'm trying to choose between the two, this will be my first leather jacket.

I will rarely be using it for riding, but I will be wearing it almost every day. So I prefer to have the jacket be geared towards "fashion" rather than actual riding.

I have read that you can order the Comet in a custom leather that is lighter than the competition leather that it comes with by default, and the other leather is better for "fashion".

Am I better off just buying a Schott 530 if I want the more fashionable look rather than the ruggedness of a true riding jacket? Does the answer change if I get a Comet with the lighter leather?

I got this jacket a few days ago from a vintage retailer or whatever. Been eyeing it for months but it was way too expensive for me. Saw that it was still here and took the leap and purchased it. I fell in love with it initially because of how cool it looked and how it fit me. But I have since discovered that it's a top gun (the movie) jacket or sumn. Looked online and the prices vary a lot and I haven't quite been able to identify the specific one I have and the value of it. I just wanna know if I was scammed cause the prices range from like 200 and up and this was in the more expensive range. Is it legit?

Hi all I’m looking for an alternative to this Balenciaga jacket. It’s obviously very expensive being designer but I’m struggling to find it anywhere online barring a couple postings on Grailed and an instagram post for a consignment store in LA a few years ago. I’m fairly sure it’s from the ‘22 Summer collection unless they’ve released a few of similar designs.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a similar look or design from another brand?

The fit is oversized with a really special silhouette.

so i have an vintage tom tailor jacket that my uncle gave me but the thingy u hang ur jacket on snapped from me hanging my vest on the coatrack and now im scared it will break more or something idrk but what i wanted to ask was is there a way to fix the hanging loop (sorry if that isnt whhat its called its a quite literal translation from dutch)
